  1. The game easily could have been 93-0. LCC kicked a FG on first down in the 4th Q and then took a knee 4 times with 6 minutes to go and gave the ball back to BC at the 50. I hope the BC player is ok?
  2. What did you think of the LCC/BC game? I have never seen anything like that before. How many times was the BC QB sacked?
  3. Frankfort probably won't beat anybody this year. It hasn't been easy for Attica and I wish them all the best. Most teams go through bad years like this. Ten years from now Attica could be 9-0. I am proud of the Attica players and coaches for showing up everyday and doing the best they can. I hope South Vermillion leaves Attica alone, because that could be an ugly game.
  4. There are so many OH MY's that I can't keep up with all of them. If you have an OH MY, post it. Attica has only scored 1 touchdown so far this season, 7 points against Tri-County. This is the worst Attica team in school history. This team is worse than the 2002 Attica team that went 0-10 and only scored 33 points. Attica plays 7-0 South Vermillion the last game of the season. "OH MY" Lafayette Jeff has scored 70 points the last two weeks. They beat Richmond 70-0 and Marion 70-28. Jeff has never scored 70 or more points two weeks in a row. I bet the Jeff basketball team won't even score 70 points on Richmond and Marion. "OH MY" Brebeuf beat Terre Haute South 83-65. That is the most points scored on THS in school history. Cascade could finish 9-0 this season. They have never been 9-0 before. This is their best team since 2006 when they finished 10-2. Tri-West beat North Montgomery 70-0 last Friday. That was the worst loss in North Montgomery history. NM won state twice in the 1990's, but that was then and this is now. If NM plays like that this week, Frankfort could beat them. "OH MY"
  5. WL lost 3 regular season games last year. 2006 was the last time WL lost 3 regular season games at home. WL lost to Tipton, Seeger and Sheridan at home in 2006. WL went 0-9 in 1994. I don't know about the top 10. It might have been last year. Logansport is really good this year.
  6. I'll say Cathedral wins 28-24. I think Cathedral is better than the way they played against Brownsburg.
  7. Is there anyone on here who doesn't think North Judson is going to win it all in 1A?
  8. I guess the point is that in the past 100 years every school has been an offender and a victim.
  9. Well, at least it wasn't as bad as in 1994. DeKalb beat New Haven 97-0 that year.
  10. Muda might want to cover all the years, so I thought I would get him started. FRANKFORT 1938 Frankfort 39 Kirklin 0 1939 Frankfort 56 Kirklin 0 1960 Frankfort 40 Clinton Central 0 1969 Frankfort 54 Lebanon 0 Frankfort 46 Clinton Central 6 Frankfort was a mulit-week offender that year. 1974 Frankfort 38 Clinton Prairie 0 1981 Frankfort 41 Benton Central 0 1995 Frankfort 40 Elwood 0 1996 Frankfort 45 Crawfordsville 6 1999 Frankfort 42 Crawfordsville 0 Frankfort 49 Tri-West 7 2000 Frankfort 52 Crawfordsville 6 2001 Frankfort 57 Western 0 Frankfort 58 Tri-West 0 Frankfort 42 Southmont 0 Frankfort was out of control in 2001 2002 Frankfort 45 Crawfordsville 7 Frankfort 55 Peru 14 2020 Frankfort 53 Clinton Prairie 12 CENTRAL CATHOLIC 1984 LCC 0 Harrison 36 LCC 8 Twin Lakes 49 LCC 0 Attica 50 LCC 0 West Lafayette 60 LCC was a victim 4 times in 1984
  11. It wouldn't have been as ugly as the Benton Central game is going to be a week from Friday. I think Jeff and LCC will win this Friday and history will still be made. Jeff will be 7-0 and LCC will be 6-0 or 7-0. LCC and Jeff 6-0 in the same year has never happened. It seems like whenever Jeff had great teams LCC was bad, and when LCC had great teams Jeff was bad.
  12. No, I awarded the Knights the win over Ritter. LCC was up 10-0 in the first Q and everyone knows LCC would have won that game. Ritter said they would not come back and should have had to forfeit.
  13. LCC and Lafayette Jeff are 6-0 this year. That has never happened before. In 1999 LCC was 6-0 and Jeff was 5-1, but both have never been 6-0 in the same year. Jeff might finish 9-0, but LCC will probably end up 8-1. These are not the best teams Jeff and LCC have had, but they are both 6-0. LCC might not win sectional and Jeff will probably not make it past the regional. But history has been made.
  14. I'm sure all of that will happen, but RC doesn't throw the ball much and I bet they are still happy about this. 🙂
  15. RC at LCC at 8pm ET. Rain and wind from the NE at 31 mph at 8pm with gusts up to 50 mph. Better alert the kicking teams, that kind of wind could affect the snap from center. OH MY! I bet RC is very happy about this.
  16. They count about as much as Muncie South does. 🙂
  17. It will probably be 308-0 after the next two weeks. Eastbrook and Madison-Grant might score on them
  18. It is sad to see what has happened to the teams in the NCC. The NCC was always one of the best conferences in the state. Richmond was always good until about 2003. Richmond beat Lafayette Jeff every year from 1988-1997. Richmond even beat Jeff in 1991, when Jeff beat Carmel for the sectional championship. Marion went to state in 1988 and 1990, but lost to Ben Davis. Anderson always played Lafayette Jeff tough. Richmond played Ben Davis tough in 1992, but lost 24-14. Ben Davis went on to state and lost to FW Snider in 1992. I never thought I would see the day when LCC could beat Richmond, Anderson and Muncie Central in football. Oh MY!
  19. LCC beat WL for the first time since 2016, and like foxbat said, only Chatard and Harrison have held the WL offense to a td or less in the past decade. LCC won 12-7. The NCC was once the best conference in the state, but this year Richmond and Anderson are 0-5 and Muncie Central's only win was against Anderson 55-12. OH MY! South Bend once had the best teams in the state, but this year SB Washington is 0-5 and SB Adams is 0-5. South Bend Riley's only wins were against SB Washington and Hammond Noll. OH MY! It looks like the only team Avon can beat this year is Ben Davis, last years champion. OH MY! Munster scored their first points of the season this week. They beat East Chicago Central 47-0. East Chicago Central, OH MY! I sure there are a lot of other OH MY's. Post them here!
  20. Wow! What a game! The defense play their best game of the year. I didn't think LCC would win the game. I thought WL would score 3 or 4 td's. WL scored 22 on Harrison and 34 on McCutcheon. The last time LCC held WL to 7 points was in 1994, when LCC beat WL 38-7, but that game was at LCC and WL went 0-9 that year. This reminds me of 1989 when LCC went over to WL and beat them 14-6. WL had beaten LCC the last 12 years and nobody thought LCC would beat WL that night. LCC made 2 FG's in that game in 1989, just like last night. LCC went on to win the sectional 17-7 in 1989, when they broke the law against Sheridan, and shut down Brett Law, Indiana's leading rusher. Last night was a really big win for LCC, they couldn't even hold WL to 7 points during the Anthrop years. But they didn't play WL until Danny's senior year.
  21. Sometime after July 1973 they went to point system you are talking about. In 1974 to allow rivalries between squads of different classes, the IHSAA allowed a team to scratch one game. Lafayette Jeff scratched Crawfordsville and Noblesville scratched providence. It was a big mess.
  22. That's the way they were going to do it 1973. They must have changed it.
  23. I guess nobody wanted to play Luers if they were in 1A. McCutcheon didn't want to play LCC because they were in 1A and wouldn't get as many points. In 1977 Rensselaer went undefeated, yet didn't get to be in the playoffs because of their schedule-too many class A teams.
  24. It's 1973 and it is the first year for the IN high school football playoffs. There are 3 classes, AAA, AA, and A. Lafayette Jeff is AAA, Harrison, West Lafayette, Benton Central AA, and LCC, Southwestern, and Wainwright A. Classifications are made on the basis of male enrollment. Any team which defeats an AAA team acquires 12 points toward selection for the football championship playoffs. A victory over an AA team is worth 8 points, and a win over an A team 4 points. It appeared that the IHSAA in planning the state football playoffs, made a mistake in "penalzing" large enrollment schools that schedule games with smaller schools. The big question at Lafayette Jeff in 1973, was should Jeff play LCC, WL, Harrison and Benton Central and enable the Jeff Athletic department to show a sizable profit, or should the Bronchos continue to play the big name teams from distant points, and possibly earn a chance to play in the state championship playoffs, even though receipts from admissions may not be adequate to pay expenses.
  25. Meister is a really good player and he is a junior. I just hope the LCC defense doesn't have to stay on the field all night. I still think WL will win, but it won't be like the last 7 years. I don't think LCC can score 30 on WL, so the LCC defense will have to play their best game of the year.
