    I think HSE has the best defense in the state. Carroll will be lucky to score 14 points. The most points scored against HSE is 28, and Carroll is not going to score that many. So, I say HSE wins 21-7.

    The Lutheran defense hasn't given up a point in the playoffs. Providence scored on a kick return.

    If this was 1922 North Judson might win by 60 because it would take AC all day to get there. 🙂

    It must have been a big advantage for the home team 100 years ago when the other team had to take the train to the game and probably walk a mile from the train station to the football field. I think HSE wins this game 21-7. I don't think Carroll will score many points against that HSE defense.

    I want Chatard to win, but if WL wins then I wouldn't mind if Monrovia beat them at state. I think WL and Chatard are about even, and I can't be sure who will win. The winner of WL/Chatard will probably win state.

    No, I wouldn't mind if Monrovia beat WL and won state. I just don't think they will get past Lawrenceburg. But you never know because I'm still trying to figure out how Danville beat Western Boone.

    I wouldn't bet my mortgage, you never know what might happen. Didn't Pioneer beat Chesterton 20-16 two years ago.

    This is the year for Whiteland fans to be on here, because Whiteland has a very good chance to win state.

    I knew something must have happened because I thought GS would still be playing this week. But like you said...such is the playoffs.

    Yeah, I know they beat them 38-3. That's why I think WL or Chatard could beat Lawrenceburg. WL and Chatard are not as good as East Central, but they don't have to be as good as East Central to beat Lawrenceburg by a point and win state. I don't really care to see WL win state, but I wouldn't mind if Lawrenceburg won state.

    It's the end of the line for Monrovia. Lawrenceburg has only given up 6 td's in the last 12 games. Can Lawrenceburg beat West Lafayette at state? Can they beat Chatard?

    I think Lutheran could beat Valpo. I know Lafayette Jeff and West Lafayette could beat Valpo.

    Lutheran beat Monrovia 52-6 during the regular season.

    I don't think teams like Gibson Southern and OV were that great this year and Monrovia played some good teams during the regular season, like Lutheran. Monrovia probably got healthy. Lutheran beat Monrovia 52-14 during the regular season.

    Yeah, Doug Downing went on to play at Purdue. Doug Downing tried to throw the ball to his brother Joe in the 1981 game and was picked at the end of the game. Woodson is now in the NFL Hall of Fame. It was hard to throw the ball with Woodson in there. Hobart didn't throw the ball much and beat Snider 15-0 in 1982

    Yes, and Snider won again 27-14

    I don't know why Jeff would throw a pass. It is a little like 1981 when Jeff threw a pick at the end of the game and lost to FW Snider 18-17. But Jeff had to throw the ball back in 1981. Jeff just can't make it past regional.

    Congrats to Rochester on a great year! LCC was lucky to win. Rochester is a great city and they should be proud of their football team. I have been to the Catholic church in Rochester and its a really nice church.

    I thought you wanted to study games like that because you always say 96-0 never forget. 156-0 is something I figured you might find interesting. But I don't think its the score that bothers you.

    I was here and the CP coach said LCC did nothing wrong. What's really bothering you? Maybe we should discuss the 156-0 score. We can find old newspapers from Linton.

    I don't know what this means, but I think it is looking better for LCC. 🙂

    LCC played St. Joe back in 1962 and lost 45-0. The game was played up in South Bend in the snow.

    I hope LCC can keep it close. I wish the game was at LCC. LCC has played Dwenger before, but never Andrean.

    No she is not, but I think Donnie is right about Muda and the Catholics. I also think that is only part of it.
