The Rochester announcers didn't say anything. LCC was at the 1 yard line and scored. Most teams would have done the same thing. I can't remember how much time was left when they scored. It was 17-8 and if Rochester got the ball back they might have scored. I remember when LCC played West Lafayette a few years ago and WL threw a 40 yard pass with 2 minutes left in the game when they were up 42-0. Nobody said anything. The LCC players and coaches should have to attend 7:30am Mass every Sunday for the next year for doing this. I hope they don't get kicked out of the IHSAA.

No, I don't think LCC will win, but nobody thought Jeff was going to win and they did. I don't think Andrean will win by 25 or 30. I would ask you what you think about the game, but you probably don't care who wins.

LCC finally plays Andrean! They have never played before. Who wins and why? I think Andrean will win 28-20. LCC could win, but they will have to play just about perfect. I guess if Lafayette Jeff can beat Crown Point, then LCC could beat Andrean.

I just hope LCC doesn't catch blocked punt-itis or bad kicking-itis. But Harrison and Cass know all too well that TO-itis is the worst itis you can get.

I hope you are right! Perhaps you could list some reasons why LCC would destroy Rochester. I think the teams are about even. If I thought LCC would destroy Rochester or Rochester would destroy LCC, I would say so, but I am really not sure who will win.

It might come down to special teams. LCC has not been great in that department. Cass blocked a LCC punt and only had to go 3 yards for one of their scores.

I think we can beat a Zebra, but if they were called the Rochester Rhinos or something like that, we probably couldn't beat them. 🙂 I kind of wish with they were pass heavy. You can't get a pick six if they don't throw the ball. I might say crazy things because I am not sure we can beat them. This is going to be a close game. Thanks for the info!

Should be a good game! LCC has never played Rochester. Anybody on here know anything about Rochester? LCC played really well against Cass, but I don't think Rochester will turn the ball over 6 times like Cass did. LCC will probably have to score 30 points to win because their defense is not great. I'll say LCC wins 34-28.

Lafayette Jeff joined the HCC in 2004 because they thought it would be the best conf in the state someday. The HCC is what the NCC used to be years ago.

Its going to be a long drive for Southmont and an even longer drive back.

I don't know about atoning for that loss, but the team had breakfast in the Social Hall after Mass. The sermon was about finding the good in all people even when it is hard to do so. He said it is probably hard for the football players to find the good in Coach when he makes them run Suicide drills.

If they don't beat the Kings the football team will be going to 7:30 am Mass every Sunday for the next two months, and will be going to confession every two weeks at 3:30pm on Saturday.

The LCC football team was at 9:30 mass at St. Lawrence last Sunday. I thought Father was going to bawl them out for playing poor D against good teams, but he did not. Two of the players did the readings. If they can get up in front of everyone in church, they shouldn't be afraid of the Kings. 🙂

LCC should beat Cass by a TD, but if LCC plays like they did against Hamilton Hts. they will get beat.

Until the IHSAA gets it right? When will that happen? The all-in is the only thing the IHSAA has done right since 1973.

In 1988 some said that 1a champ Sheridan could have beat 5a champ Ben Davis, but I don't think they could have. Lutheran could beat anyone in 2a this year. I said that in September. They looked better than Linton last night.
