  1. They would just have to exclude the MIC from the tourney so other schools can have a chance to win. Wait a sec, did I just say that?? Or just have a MIC state tourney and then a "loser" bracket championship tourney.
  2. Don't think you need 5 hours between games. Now they have roughly 3.5 hours between games. So you could do 9, 12:30, 4 and 7:30, or something close to that.
  3. As the sprawl out of Indy continues so will the school size which usually means being more competitive as long as good coaching is in place.
  4. Yea I know that. Every once in a decade or two a non MIC school will win the 6A crown. The HCC has not done much to be included with the MIC in regard to the blue rings for 6A
  5. I would guess that the general Gridiron Digest populous really doesn't care about these "all Indy" area 6A champ games. Too bad the 6A north schools just can't compete against the University of Carmel. As far as the south half, no competition from mid or southern state results in the same representative mix of Center Grove, Warren Central or Ben Davis. It's the same ole same ole, wash, rinse and repeat. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
  6. More like east of Carmel, and it does sit a smidge south of them as well
  7. On the outside if those two teams is Indy Chatard. Watched bits of last nights game and last weeks game, they look really good.
  8. I'm thinking Valpo will give New Pal a bit of a game, but say NP by 28
  9. Valpo scores, game over Not sure why Dwenger went for it on 4th down at their 38. Thought there was a bit of time on clock still??? Looks like they called TD back??
  10. Saints D holds, getting ball back Punts pins them at the 5, another LOOOOOOOOOng field I think this drive them need to flip field on them if they don't score
  11. From what I see, Valpo's D has been on field a lot in 3rd Q, so maybe they are getting a bit gassed?? But their O keeps moving ball, so hopefully Saints D has some left in tank
  12. Yes, Valpo is big and they control ball possession very well. Valpo punts and pins them down at the 2. Another long field for the Saints
  13. Yeah, I'm thinking the 2011 team, ran through the SAC pretty easily, Only Snider and Dwenger were able to get within 10 points of them (actually beat each by 11). Ran through post season and whipped up a good Evansville Mater Dei
  14. I'll go one better. The FW Luers teams in the late 2000's & early 2010's led by Jaylon Smith would have been a hand full in 5A (That was top class back then).
  15. I was surprised somewhat on the Saints offensive ability last week against Harrison. Really did not see much of that during regular season.
  16. Yeah, I know. Homestead was certainly over there head in this one. Carmel is always a good team and will normally be one when you have 5,000 plus students.
  17. Yeah, I think they will spend more time in 5A than 6A, occasionally bumping up to 6A after success at 5A level., though it seems like 5A is getting tougher as well.
