  1. This is being overblown by social media. I think taking these precautions are a good idea, but lets not go overboard. The first influenza pandemic was recorded in 1580, and since then, influenza pandemics occurred every 10 to 30 years. When all is said and down, probably mid summer, it will probably be similar to the swine flu. This pandemic killed around half a million people worldwide. It caused about 12,000 deaths in the United States. I don't recall all these precautions in 2009 with Obama. In fact, the media barely covered this.
  2. Probably not, this will be a 3-4 month thing. I feel additional restrictions are coming next week within US borders. Stock up on essentials and make sure you keep your tank is full of gas.
  3. No reports up in North Dakota, they are open for business and vacation fun.
  4. Germ warfare started by China, could be with Iranian and North Korea backing?? Putin may have a hand in as well.
  5. I think since Scott had such a great Freshmen season, he certainly was favorite to be starter in 2019??
  6. IU beats Nebraska they are in. They lose they are out. I think it is a simple equation at this point.
  7. Wayne and Spuller are cookie cutter type, very blend and no personality to them.
  8. I didn't know if that was an option. If he doesn't see fit at other places that pursue him, but player decides to stay. But, would team want that player back is also a big if !!
  9. That is really disappointing, I was just thinking IU had its feature back for 2-3 years. Any chance he stays??
  10. Didn't know about that big of a shift at Penn. That said, I think the Elkhart Lions will be a challenge year in and year out for Penn. Can they beat them a few times here and there, probably, but doubt they dethrone them.
  11. IMO, Snider will likely be heading to 5A after the 2020 season. Homestead had it's chance last year. They finally beat Snider in regular season and looked good. Then came Carmel and they got manhandled, maybe that game against Noblesville really did expose them as being the best team in an average, at best SAC league. I expect Carroll to be top dog in SAC next year, surprise team next year, Northside. With Snider, big question is who gets the call at QB.
  12. I would agree, but only on years when the groundhog sees his shadow.
  13. The point is "when they are offered a PW they have a choice to go there or not" . So the kid can go there and try to get playing time at a P5 school, or go the other route; non P5, FCS, D2, D3 or NAIA.
  14. So, the kids are then forced to go there when they get the PW??
  15. See that he got let go Tuesday. Sounded as if he had some inappropriate or questionable conduct the past year or two. Wish him well and hope he gets help if needed.
  16. Too bad the Aces haven't carried that momentum after that win
  17. Anyone have "ins and outs" on the SAC this year. I normally follow SAC football, not all in tune with who is and who isn't in league B-ball. I see Snider won on deep shot at buzzer last night and see that Carroll is good. Just wondering how the SAC may play out this year.
  18. i agree, Carroll is likely best in SAC, I would saw Homestead/Dwenger duke it out for second. Snider has a lot of skill positions to fill on O, and has some big D positions to replace, they may have tough year. That is unless there are some surprise transfers or some young'ins step up.
