    Carmel's stipend for the football coach is a range between 9.0% and 13.5% of his salary. If it is maxed out at 13.5% his total pay would be less than $107K. That's a long way short of $150K.

    I played for CG in the late 70s & early 80s. We were a mediocre team that was trying to compete with the big boys. I remember scheduling games against powerhouses such as Lawrenceburg and South Bend St Joseph so we could see how we compared to the best. Surely the roads and buses aren't any worse than they were 40 years ago.

    I like the DB character and this poster does a great job of mimicking him. I’m all ears regarding potential changes but have no interest in a 16 team class. Besides there aren’t 16 mega schools in my opinion. Not sure what you do about the non-Indy teams’ inability to compete but eliminating the competition is not a solution I can support.
