    It’s basically the old Hoosier (circa late 80s early 90s) except without Harrison & McCutcheon. Frankfort and possibly Tipton would be decent additions.

    The Hoosier is too big geographically. BC, LCC, Twin Lakes, and WL would be wise to parter up with Rensselaer to form a new league

    So, it’s over? Well, I can no longer wear shorts (at least comfortably) when I play golf, so it must be… A great season for the most part. Around here in the Region, Lowell started to reassert themselves, Crown Point kept rolling, and Andrean looks real tough. On the down side, Hammond Central, Highland, Kankakee Valley, Lake Central, and Munster all have work to do.

    I could never be a coach as my first down call would be an end around, long bomb on second, tush push on third, and fumblerooski on fourth. On defense, all I would do is blitz…

    Sports is a great unifier. Lessons learned back in the day are still applied today such the fumble, reverse, long bomb, and safety blitz. Lest we never forget interception, block, and touchdown.
