Campbellsburg to Sheridan was a trek a few years ago. And it rained with the wind blowing toward the visitors side. Uphill both ways! We got trounced. I did get to witness what it looks like for a community to embrace a program and support it. The fans and boosters treated us well until kickoff, did I mention we got trounced, then they shook our hands and thanked us for coming. Wished us well and a safe trip home.

It's not going to change as long as fans keep buying tickets. The only way to get the attention of the NCAA and/or the member Universities is to hit their pocketbooks. The players could do it if they started going G league or Europe en masse. Just don't see that happening.

This generation (Lord, I sound more like my Dad everyday) doesn't understand or take pride in the fact they GET to represent the name on the front of the jersey. There is definitely a chemistry issue with this team. Maybe a coaching issue. Although I'm a firm believer a coach needs 3-4 years to get his own players in the system. Not ready to jump ship but deeply disappointed. I'm inclined to think it is too much emphasis on the offense going thru only Romeo or Juwan. When Juwan went down with the injury a while ago, they seemed to respond by everyone looking for the open man instead of everyone looking for Romeo or Juwan. But what do I know I'm just a guy who buys a ticket once in a while.

I know this has probably been discussed on the previous forum prior to THE CRASH, but for the record, what is the action, phrase, good luck charm, or jinx move that you either have to do OR make sure no one does to insure your teams success. Steve Alford was known for socks, shorts, 1,2,3 swish at the free throw line. Some announcers refrain from saying the obvious about a no-hitter in progress. What is your sure fire winning streak stretcher? Personally I wear the same Tennessee Titans cap to every game and will not wear it anywhere else as long as we are winning. Once we suffer a defeat then I can wear it elsewhere. Weird, I know. My wife thinks I'm certifiably insane because of it. Tell us your team phobia unless of course that would jinx your team. 😉
