  1. You kill me. I don't know how you can reside in Indiana and not like either team. I know you like controversy, but damn! It's like when I was a kid, I rooted against the Bears because everyone else liked them. But I grew out of that Temp. I support local. C'mon!
  2. You do you. Now go get me a refill while I coninute my conversation with @temptation and @Komets2727.
  3. Damn, really? That's not just a cheap shot at the IU Contingent? I think these Hoosiers are ready. Vegas is spot on in my opinion. I have one bet riding on the game with an IU fan, I gave him the spread and that's it.
  4. Scram. The men are discussing football.
  5. His conduct is unprofessional, no other way to slice it. Now, back to the topic at hand. Hopefully any more jabs about donations will be executed via private message. Unless of course the message is directed at the entirety of the forum and not just three people. Anyway............
  6. What exactly is your role here? I don't revere you the same way I do Coach Nowlin, DK Barons, and Irishman.
  7. You're quick to throw certain members under the bus. Donation just went down 50% this year.
  8. Don't need a reminder, but thanks.
  9. I think you're selling your Wolverines short. I'll give you Georgia and South Carolina. But I've got Michigan in a close one over Missouri and the train wreck at LSU. Michigan is playing on a different level the second half of the season vs the first.
  10. I've got Michigan over Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.
  11. You'be been wrong about IU all year long. Why trust you now?
  12. Lol, IU's transfers came from George Mason. I thought you said Vegas had Bama by 4?
  13. Your life is at stake. You need to make the first 12 team playoff in your first year as coach. You taking Indiana or Alabama? I rest my case.
  14. Thirty one transfers from...............gulp...........George Mason. C'mon man!
  15. I don't think IU fans know how to be arrogant when it comes to football. The fans I know still seem to be in shock.
  16. I didn't like Cignetti at first. I thought, "damn, this guy is arrogant." Then I thought, "can a guy be this arrogant and fail? Is that even possible?" Well, he backed it up. But he still has work to do. Comments like "google me" will be remembered. Pressure is on.
  17. Cignetti started with nothing and made the playoffs. Deboer started with everything and failed to make the playoffs. Yeah, I'm going with Cignetti. You take DeBoer.
  18. How can you blame the IU fan base for being excited for a change? Lol, they've suffered for years. Correct. I've I'm going into battle, I'm picking Cignetti.
  19. Nope, nope, and nope. Having that same record in the SEC or the Big Ten, hell, even the ACC would be a better selling poing for me. Nothing against DeBoer, other than the fact that this is Alabama's worst team in recent memory, I'm just all in on Cignetti.
  20. More pressure at Ohio State. National championships are expected. All Notre Dame wants to do is make the playoffs with a bunch of smart kids. So yeah, if I'm Freeman, Notre Dame is the more appealing job. Going to Ohio State and not winning looks bad on the resume. At least at Notre Dame there is an excuse.
  21. That may be the case, but I don't trust DeBoer against Cignetti. I'd probably just refrain from betting on that game. Vegas is basing their spread on the number of four and five star players playing for the Tide. But damn, something is missing in Tuscaloosa. No way Cignetti gets routed by the Sooners they way DeBoer did. The committee made the right choice. No one wants to see a three loss team with inconsistancy issues. If you lose three games, you lose your right to compete for a championship. Hell, I'd rather see a one loss MAC team get their opportunity to showcase themselves on the big stage. But tragically, that will never happen.
  22. Which Alabama team shows up? The one that beat Georgia or the one that lost to Oklahoma and Vanderbilt?
  23. I bring up transitive property and Sagarin in my debate with you because I know you believe in them. I think transitive property can be a decent indicator, but certainly not the be all end all. It's kind of like Sagarin, 70% legit, 30% pretend. Teams match up differently with one another. Home teams (Ohio State) , trap games (Northern Illinois), injuries, rivalry games (Michigan) , bye weeks.........all can play a factor. But at the end of the day, it was hard for the committee to ignore how Indiana won their games impressively. They earned their way in, whereas Alabama did not.
  24. Flexing about utterly manhandling a team that OSU struggled against. Flexing about beating three common opponants with Oregon by a larger margin than they did. The schedule isn't the greatest, but theres some bright spots.
  25. I can't imagine a better feeling than going into a hostile environment where everyone hates you to compete in a football game.
