  1. I guess you'd have to compare his average per carry to those nine with more rushing yards than him. Either way, he's a darn good running back. He was late to the party being a backup his junior season, but the DII programs are taking notice currently.
  2. I've been trying to explain that to others this entire thread. And yes, I did take the term 'dynasty' literal. I get that it only relates to your past Top 100's. You have your hands full compiling data from that poll alone. I can't imagine you have time to assess every single team in the nation. I'm presuming Pike made the poll in 2007 along with Carmel?
  3. What does being ranked in the National Top 100 have to do with a dynasty? Not sure how I'm being dense. Whiteshoes is ONLY qualifying teams that have made his Top 100. Calling Fishers, LC, and Pike dynasties is laughable. These ranking are nothing more than a measuring stick for teams that have made the Top 100 in the past. Congratulations on making the Top 100 once, but you've dominated nothing over a period of time. These schools aren't dynasties, not even a little bit. Luers, LCC, Chatard, and Lutheran ARE dynasties because they dominated their respective class. This has nothing to do with Luers ability to beat Fishers in a head to head matchup. It has everything to do with dominating your competition in the class in which you compete. Pike for f**** sake? Am I on candid camera?
  4. Can we qualify Anderson as an Indy team since I69 is three lanes from Indy to Anderson?
  5. Fishers, Pike, Reitz, New Pal, Penn, and LC are consistent at the national level? I must be missing something. I understand what he's done. He's using ONLY the national poll, it's just not a good measuring stick for a dynasty. A dynasty can only be measured by a program's dominance in the tournament that they play. For instance: Three or four straight championships. Making the National Top 100 one time in the past 16 years doesn't qualify you as a dynasty. When talking dynasties in Indiana, I think you have to start with Warren Central, Luers, LCC, and Center Grove. There are others, those just come to mind first.
  6. I guess I'm confused as to what a dynasty is. I just don't see Pike or Fishers as dynasties. I see Luers, Lutheran, LCC, and Chatard as dynasties, but that's just me.
  7. I want to say he started in 2007. And the only teams on the list are teams that made his national Top 100 in the past. That's the only sense I can make of it. There are plenty of teams not on the list who've had better dynasties than the ones who made his list. I noticed a red flag when no small schools were represented. I'm positive this list only consists of teams who've made the National Top 100, dating back to 2007 maybe.
  8. A Snider/Penn matchup wouldn't hurt my feelings. Old rivalry renewed.
  9. The following makes sense to me geographically: Sectional 1: Penn, Crown Point, Portage, Lake Central Sectional 2: Carroll, Snider, Northrop, Elkhart Sectional 3: Westfield, Noblesville, Harrison, Homestead Sectional 4: Zionsville, Carmel, Fishers, HSE
  10. My error, Mishawaka is 4A. They should should challenge Northwood for supremacy up north.
  11. So is Cathedral still 6A? I'm seeing them in both 6A and 4A.
  12. Jeff and Warsaw in 5A North makes the top half of the bracket ultra interesting. With Valpo, Merrillville, and Mishawaka already there, 5A North will be battle tested and ready to defend North's two year win streak against the likes of Decatur Central or East Central.
  13. Regionals or semi-state for all we know. Right now it's looking like both will have potential for deep runs.
  14. Nope. One more game of throwing against fellow Iowa recruit Logan.
  15. Dumbest article I've ever read. All I got from that is that is that Trump supporters and black people are more ignorant that Biden supporters and white people. Sad that the Washington Post would even post such discriminatory garbage.

    THE Game

Thanks for the vids. Good stuff.
  17. I see the gap closing. Whether that was just a two year trend remains to be seen. But both Carroll and Crown Point seem to be trending up as long as there isn't a major coaching change. I'd like to add Penn to the conversation, but like Homestead, they're just trending sideways. I think we can all agree that HSE '22 & Westfield '23 were among Indy's best.
  18. It started with a typo. Temp pointed out that the class of 2022 would be football years 2018-2021.
  19. Center Grove played in the last four state title games, they won three of them.
  20. Let me put this a different way. We'll use Center Grove as an example..........any year. Clone their team, put Penn uniforms on them and play Penn's schedule. When the two teams meet at the end of the season, the team wearing the CG jerseys win by two touchdowns. It's another day at the office for the guys wearing the CG jerseys. The guys wearing the Penn jerseys won't know what him them until the damage is already done.
  21. Two teams of equal caliber aren't separated by four touchdowns no matter the schedules in my opinion. Not sure were talking about the same thing here.
  22. The landscape of football now is different than what it was in the 90's. A good team could obliterate a weak schedule and still win the 5A (now 6A) championship. To make a run to Lucas and expect to win, you have to see at least one, preferably two title contending teams. I think Penn should pick up one team from Fort Wayne (Carroll or Snider) and one team from Indy (pick from ten). Penn and Center Grove could be on equal footing, but if Penn doesn't see the caliber of a Top 10 team during the regular season, it will be like hitting a brick wall when they do. For Center Grove, it's just another day at the office, it's nothing new to them to play a team like Penn. I'll take the Trojans by two touchdowns in that scenario. Scheduling Mishawaka is fine if you're shooting for the 5A title. But 6A is another ball game.
  23. I thinking he meant class of 2024. In terms of football seasons, it would be the 2023 class. But yes, technically, the class of 2024 went 3-1 in the state finals.
