You've been critical of Cignetti from the moment he stepped on campus. Called him a "clown" I recall. It doesn't even matter if IU wins a playoff game. This season will go down as one of the greatest turn around stories of all time. It's not like this is a one off, he's won everywhere he's been...........google him.

Endzone Cameras vs. Drones

Several coaching staffs utilize both. Can't be THAT obsolete. -
What is Cignetti missing? A win over a ranked team? You'll concede that he's a "great" coach if they win their first round game?
-
We're making progress. We both agree that: 1. Both Cignetti and Harbaugh are great coaches. You won't say it, but I know you believe it. 2. The twelve team playoff seems a little overrated now after spending two years being excited about it. 3. Ryan Day and James Franklin are both overrated and it would be in Indiana and Michigan's best interest if they retain their jobs. 4. Hillarious that Ohio State couldn't beat Michigan this year.
-
Pretty impressive that the committee thinks so highy of a guy who's never beaten a ranked team. That's magical, superhuman if you will.
-
I have tons more admiration for a high school coach than I do college or NFL. So no, I'd never mention Harbaugh in the same sentance as Wright.
-
So he's batting .333, with Cignetti at 1.000. Harbaugh's a good coach, but so is Cignetti. Just say it. Also admit that you're just here to ruffle ND's fans feathers. I don't blame ya, it's fun. But deep down, I know that you know that Notre Dame is pretty damn good this year.
-
Make the playoffs :).
-
Presuming he hasn't since you brought it to light. But: Alabama's longest winning streak under Saban just happened to be during Cignetti's tenure as an assistant coach. And: Cignetti did in one season what took Harbaugh eight.
-
No clue what you're talking about.
-
Definitely not delusional. If Jim Tressell is corrupt, then all coaches are corrupt. I just like dishing it back out to you. Why isn't Cignetti worthy? Google him.
-
I don't hate Michigan, but I know someone who hates Notre Dame. It's pretty obvious. Your team's season is over so you're in here pissing on Notre Dame's parade. It's not working. We're pretty proud of our team. The NIU loss is completely irrelevent at this point, they're ranked #4 in the country for crying out loud. Harbaugh is a winner, I don't deny that. But, like Pete Carroll, he's better off in the NFL where coaches, for the most part, are on a level playing field. Look, Harbaugh was desperate. He didn't turn Michigan into the title contender the alumni wanted in the timeframe they were expecting. It wasn't past him break a few rules to acheive his ultimate goal. I'm not saying he's not a good coach, but he's certainly not a Cignetti.
-
Only on top as a result of a cheating scandal. Wonder what else Harbaugh did behind closed doors. You have to admit, Jim screams shady to the tune of that guy named Pete. Two peas in a pod. Fun guys for sure. Likable by their players. But shady as............well, you know. Most MAC teams would wax App State.
-
You're trolling now Temp, you're better than this.
-
Whatever makes you feel better. Just stop.
-
Lol, not surprised.
-
They've been proving people wrong all year Temp. I know you're a believer in transitive property, as am I..............both of us to a reasonble extent. Indiana passes with flying colors in that category. Indiana waxed Nebraska, whereas Ohio State struggled agasint them. Indiana beat Michigan at home, Ohio State failed to do so. Rivalry game, I get that. But I can assure you that Michigan didn't come into the IU game half asleep. They don't want to lose to their "lessor" neighbor to the south. IU also beat UCLA, Michigan State, and Purdue by wider margins than Oregon did. I'm not saying Indiana will get past the first round, it's 50/50 more than likely. But this is a team that better be taken seriously. If Rourke is on his game, all bets are off. I might just head to the sports book right now.
-
I guess I'd rather see a one loss team get their opportunity to see how they'd do against a ranked opponent versus watching a team with three losses already, more than likely end their season with a fourth loss. A three loss team just doesn't interest me in the slightest. I get it, it's a money thing with Alabama. Not sure why you keep bringing up Notre Dame. You're smart, you know that the Northern Illinios game has almost zero relevance now after how the Irish dismantled the rest of their entire schedule.
-
I'd rather see a one loss MAC team make the playoffs than a three loss Power Four school. If you lose three games in one season, you don't deserve the opportunity to call yourself champion. There's an intrigue factor with a one loss team no matter the conference. There is no intrigue with a three loss team.

Agree. At the end of the day, each of the six champions should be holding their trophy high saying "come one, come all." If the kids from Providence and Adams Central aren't saying "bring on Brownsburg," then their mindset is in the wrong place. Couldn't have said that any better.
-
I'd have to rewatch Chatard. They remind me of Brownsburg (not as good of course). Watching them on film isn't the least bit intimidating, they just play to win somehow.
-
His comment might have come across as a bit harsh, but 4 & 8? That poll has just a little too much Indy flavor. I like my poll better at 11 & 14. I might concede a bit on New Pal, but not budging on Decatur Central. It's not a bash on those programs. It's more of a testament as to how strong 6A is. Again it's all subjective, but damn. New Pal's best players play offense, defense, and special teams. That's a recipe for disaster against 6A's best programs. Yeah, they did it in 18' & 19', but teams like that don't come around too often. Not to mention 6A is stronger now than it was six years ago. These teams just keep getting better and better. I think 6A's Top 10 would compete well against any state's Top 10 in the country...........I'm not sure I would have said that seven years ago.
