It really is hard to go against Brownsburg. They beat Lawrence North who was "as good as Ben Davis last season." And they beat Center Grove who was "peaking at the right time and as good as anyone." On the flip side, Westfield obliterated one of the best five teams in the entire state last week. I'll roll with your score, Brownsburg 28-24.

Agree they could be good games, I just think the wrong team is favored. For the record, my top twelve teams are all 6A programs. I've got Snider at #12, they trucked East Noble. Sorry, 6A is a different beast.

Does it really matter if you lost to the worst team on your schedule if you follow up by beating, more like waxing, ten better teams? The haters can say what they want, but they pass the eye test and have a good as a shot as anyone to win the whole thing.

I doubt it. They embarrassed everyone one else on their schedule. I find it comical thta radio personalities still bring up the the Northern Illinois loss. ND is playing as well as anyone in the country.

Agree, one of the most intriguing state finals in recent memory. I'm with you on 1A, not much dog in the fight. Adams Central fascinates me in 2A. Can they win that division after coming up short three years in a row in 1A? That would be an interesting story. The four highest divisons could go in any direction. I agree with Temp in that 4A might be the top of the card.

It's hard to ignore how Luers manhandled an undefeated Garrett team last week. To start the game by throwing a 95 yard pick six and end up winning 28-14 is utter dominance. It's also hard to ignore that Heritage Hills hasn't had a close game (Indiana opponents) all season. Sagarin actually loves this team and has them as a two touchdown favorite over Luers. Now, does Sagarin have it's flaws? Absolutely. I don't see Heritage Hills beating Carroll or Snider as Sagarin suggests. At the end of the day, this should be a pretty good game. No dog in this fight. I know Temptation liked Decatur Central last season. Beyond that, who the favorite was on this forum fails me.

You just never know. Luers was "easily" the best team in 2A in 2021. Hell, I had them penciled in for 3A and a state title contender in 4A. Along comes Eastside. Take nothing for granted. I could see this one going in either directions. Good luck to both.

What does Crown Point running the clock on New Pal have to do with Westfield? Gotta stick with Crown Point for 2025. Carroll appears to have hit their ceiling. Snider will continue to struggle in the trenches against schools twice their size. I have no clue what is in store for Penn.
