  1. Lol, thanks for the tip.
  2. PM me where to send the check.
  3. I'll put $100 on CP. You're paying out $1000?
  4. No respect for Crown Point. Or did you just do that to bait me?
  5. Agree to an extent. But it's hard to argue that Ben Davis, Warren Central (teetering), and Center Grove aren't still right there. I'd say the #4 program right now is a fight between Brownsburg, Westfield, and Crown Point.
  6. At the end of the day, it's the transfer portal that's going to put teams over the top. Even the large schools are doing it. Warren Central, Elkhart, Crown Point, etc. Now, that being said, I'm never a believer in poaching another high school's players. But I wouldn't hesitate to do it at the middle school level in order to remain competitive.
  7. Right, but it still doesn't take away from the fact that those four have owned big division football.
  8. It's been the Carmel, Ben Davis, Warren Central show for obvious reasons. Center Grove is the only program that's been able to break through. The landscape of the HCC is pretty damn good, but until one of them breaks through, they're no different than Crown Point or Carroll.
  9. I watched that four quarter breakdown when it first came out. Good stuff. I've always given Ralph credit for being one of the best coaches in Indiana. I just didn't like how the whole thing came across as his coaching vs Snider's elite talent. Snider's staff isn't half bad.
  10. Idiot, lol. Obviously kidding. I don't think you're the only one who didn't predict Ben Davis's struggles at the beginning of the season. Not a team anyone would want to play right now. Hard to imagine Brownsburg coming back they way they did.
  11. You're welcome. I'm all for a good conversation. Personally, I think transitive property is overrated. But it does come in handy sometimes when defending the integrity of football in the area you're from. At the end of the day, everyone knows that the MIC and HCC are the two best conferences by far. Everyone knows that Indy had dominated 6A and that Penn hasn't been the same since Geesman. Snider more than likely won't come through with their enrollment numbers. Right now, it's up to Crown Point. Carroll is good, but just a step behind Indy as we saw in Weeks 1 & 2. My two most controversial points this season is that Crown Point will represent the north and play well at Lucas Oil and that New Pal will be exposed as a program that's NOT one of the best ten in the state. But I'll be the first to come on here and admit that I'm an idiot if I'm wrong.
  12. From the perspective of someone from Fort Wayne, I think the excitment around the East Noble program, the continuation of Adams Central's dominance in 2A, and the emergence of Huntington North has overshadowed Garrett a little bit. No offense to them, I just didn't realize they were 12-0 until a few days ago. Good luck to them the rest of the way. I like the Luers program, but I'm not going to hold my breath on them winning 3A. It's yet to happen. Good team this year, but they've had better. We'll see.
  13. I honestly hope that's not the case. Good to have you back nonetheless.
  14. It's hard to conclude, based on looking at their schedule, if North Side was much better in Week 10 than they were in Week 2. All I can tell you is that North isn't a bad football team. When I watched the game in Week 2, I came away with two thoughts. First, Lawrence North has some athletes and can score at will. Second, North Side was outmatched, but they didn't back down and punched LN back. North Side has that kind of team that's going to scrap with you whether your name is Concordia or Center Grove. But I honestly can't answer your question, other than that North would take the field with LN with the intention of winning the game. They have the mindset at least.
  15. Luers has yet to win a 3A title, you may get your wish.
  16. Took the words out of my mouth. If you don't think you can win, get the hell out of the kitchen and let someone else take over. I can assure you Buzea is planning on winning the whole thing. Something tells me that Dinan has a goal of winning the whole thing. Snider's goal at the beginning of the year is the same no matter the class..........win state.
  17. 58-28 isn't much different than 34-13. Not bad for the smallest program in 5A. Give North Side some credit, when LN punched, the SAC's 6th best team punched back. I watched it.
  18. I respect that.
  19. The right coach with the right amount of kids................see Crown Point. Carroll is slowly getting there. And if it wasn't, they would have ended up about the same score as LN and BD.
  20. Whatever, he's drinking.
  21. The entirety of the SAC would roll those programs. Indy Metro is probably home to the worst football in the state. I think what he was trying to say is that a couple of Northern teams would have beaten the majority of the the Indy teams outside of the donut.
  22. North Side was as competitive with LN as BD and WC were. I would say the direction North Side is going is up for debate. They're better this year than they were last, and they picked up Jaylon Smith as a coach.
  23. I don't see why not. Bout time.
  24. Temp and I go back, we like to banter. It's in our blood.
  25. I don't think I'm the only one who thinks strength of schedule is kind of important. Temp loves it when talking about Crown Point, not so much though when it comes to New Pal............hmmm. I'm also not the only one who thinks that the MIC had an impact on who the HCC is today. The SAC toughened up Carroll. Hell the entire SAC conference apparently thinks schedule means something, not sure why else they went after Indy's finest. I dunno, maybe I'm just confused.
