  2. @Cappy Can you confirm or deny that North Posey has not lost a game on your home field in 3 years? I heard that....any truth to it?
  3. NP is still a question mark for me in how good they are.....is Southridge better now that they have Noah Wright back? I'd think he would take them up a tick.
  4. I'd consider that a win. They competed, and if you are healthy, it is a win (kind of).
  5. Yeah, TC ought to pull this off. We will find out about Tell City when they play Southridge.
  6. It may be hard to believe these days, but historically South Spencer is 2nd (to Southridge) in number of wins against us.... HH vs SOUTH SPENCER Friday, September 13th 7:00 pm CDT Kickoff HOMECOMING NIGHT @ Heritage Hills - The Jungle History Of The Matchup South Spencer (1-2) @ Heritage Hills (2-1) Heritage Hills - The Jungle - Lincoln City, IN Friday, September 13, 2024 7:00 pm CST Kickoff This is the 54th meeting between Heritage Hills and South Spencer. The Patriots lead the overall series 41-12. This season the Patriots are averaging 29.3 ppg (points per game) and giving up 16.3 ppg, while the Rebels average 28.0 ppg and are giving up 30.3 ppg. The 12 wins that South Spencer has over Heritage Hills is second to Southridge for the most wins of any opponent against the Patriots. South Spencer is one of only three teams that have been on the Patriot football schedule at least once, every year, since their inaugural season in 1972. Like many of the Patriot's opponents, the Rebels dominated the Patriots in the early days of the series winning 5 of the first 7 meetings. The Patriots went on to win 4 of the next 5 games to tie the series up at 6-6. The Rebels would regain the series lead 7-6 with an overtime win in 1984 and the series would remain tightly contested through the first 21 meetings. After a Rebel win in 1991, the Patriots led the series by a slim 11-10 margin. After that loss the Patriots won the next 19 meetings before the Rebels ended the streak with a 14-0 win in 2011. The Patriots have won 11 out of the last 12 games since the loss in 2011. PACK THE JUNGLE this Friday to cheer for the RED, WHITE, & BLUE! 7. I should have said classy. Are we still using purple for sarcasm?
  8. Can somebody tell me what the heck Connie's is? I hear all this talk about this place and it is no where to be found on a map. What's up with this place. Is this STC's wife?
  9. It is just rain isn't it???
  10. I would like to know how these numbers break down by classes, 2a - 4a. While I realize this is private, these are still very impressive numbers.
  11. Pike Central, Forest Park, and Tell City are all 2 - 0.... it is kinda weird. Tell city likely ends FP short undefeated run.
  12. Facts. We don't get better beating Tell City by 60 in week 2. Playing CAL exposed every single problem and weakness we had.....gave plenty of film study to show guys where and how they suck. Get better! Chatard is a perfect example, they can and have lost 4 or 5 games in the regular season and went on to win state. Their schedule tests them week after week and it shows when they get to the postseason.
  13. It is impressive that he somehow gets kids to come out for football.
  14. I'll break the silence. It was a rough night. They never took their foot off the gas. Score coulda/shoulda been 21-14, but still a would have been a loss and the little things will kill you and that is football. It is a true "academy" with dorms with kids from all over, those teams are built and that is ok. No excuses, we asked for it and we got it. Learn from it and move on. My son said Saturday film and Monday morning practice were both rough....Boonville will likely get the hate from the week.

Heritage Hills has won 12 of the past 16 meetings. The Patriots lead the series 12-9. Boonville won the first 5 meetings in the series including a 60-0 Pioneer win in 1974, which is the largest losing margin in the Patriot Football program history. That streak ended in 1979, when Hall Of Famer Bob Clayton led the Patriot program to a victory over the Pioneers in his second season. In two games, the Patriots are averaging 25.0 ppg and giving up 10.5 ppg, while the Pioneers are averaging 13.5 ppg and giving up 27.5 ppg. 16. Nail on the head. I have heard a mountain of whining about this school and "why were we playing them?" It's pretty simple, you don't get better by dropping 60 on Tell City and going home. That does nothing for Tell City or us. The game against CAL short of a few things could have been 21-14, but things happen, that's football and the small things will destroy you as we know. A little humility never hurts. As it stands currently, the top 3 in 3A are in the same sectional.....you will never get out of sectional playing cream puffs. Mater Dei should be higher than that. Just sayin
  17. Indeed. Saturday film was not a good experience, and practice yesterday morning was long and rough. Some non-seniors will likely get some opportunities to prove themselves due to others resting. Should be a good home opener as we put the previous Friday behind us.
  18. It costs $20 to read that. That's insane.
  19. Yeah I suppose. Everybody wants to win, but getting out of this game without injuries would be a win. Staying competitive would be a win as well. This is a team that has 5 or 6 Jett Goldsberrys and has them every year. I am looking forward to see how we match up.
  20. We beat OC in a 7 on 7 tournament (in the final game) this summer. That means nothing, but it was fun to beat them on their field at Kentucky Wesleyan.
  21. Probably just head trauma.
  22. As a neutral, objective observer I wouldn't necessarily say "favorite" but they have a shot this year. Southridge is a question mark as I don't know if they are as good as normal, North Posey struggled with Mt. Vernon and Forest Park has 18 seniors and has improved from years past which were terrible. As PerrycountyFan said, after 1 week of football there are some odd things that popped up and as they say left more questions than answers. I will say this about Tell City--the Terry boys are as much fun to watch as anyone in the conference. Impressive speed, strength, athletic....they would be key players on any team in the Tri State.
  23. You and me both! HH vs CAL Friday, August 30th 6:30 pm CDT Kickoff **EARLY KICKOFF** @ Christian Academy Louisville - Centurion Stadium History Of The Matchup Heritage Hills (1-0) @ Christian Academy Louisville (1-0) Christian Academy Louisville - Centurion Stadium Friday, August 30, 2024 6:30 pm CDT Kickoff **EARLY KICKOFF** This is the 1st time Heritage Hills and Christian Academy Louisville will meet on the gridiron! Heritage Hills hosted Daviess County Kentucky in a varsity football game in 1977, winning 12-9. This remains the only out-of-state opponent they have played in the history of our program. On Friday, they will travel to Louisville to face Christian Academy Louisville, which will be a great battle between two storied programs with winning traditions. Christian Academy is coming off of a season opening 27-17 win over the Owensboro Red Devils. Our Patriots started off the 2024 season with a great 43-14 win over the Southridge Raiders and hope to build on their success this week against a very talented CAL football team. ______________________________ GAME & TICKET INFO NO outside Food or beverages may be brought into the stadium. 24. Hey, that is Tell City's fault, they dropped us. Although it was past time for that to happen after the conference split. Word is that South Spencer will be doing the same soon which also needs to happen. Having friends/family in TC this was always a fun game. FP HH GS PC NP SS SR TC Wash
