Can somebody tell me what the heck Connie's is? I hear all this talk about this place and it is no where to be found on a map. What's up with this place. Is this STC's wife? -

I would like to know how these numbers break down by classes, 2a - 4a. While I realize this is private, these are still very impressive numbers. -

Pike Central, Forest Park, and Tell City are all 2 - 0.... it is kinda weird. Tell city likely ends FP short undefeated run. -

Facts. We don't get better beating Tell City by 60 in week 2. Playing CAL exposed every single problem and weakness we had.....gave plenty of film study to show guys where and how they suck. Get better! Chatard is a perfect example, they can and have lost 4 or 5 games in the regular season and went on to win state. Their schedule tests them week after week and it shows when they get to the postseason. -

I'll break the silence. It was a rough night. They never took their foot off the gas. Score coulda/shoulda been 21-14, but still a would have been a loss and the little things will kill you and that is football. It is a true "academy" with dorms with kids from all over, those teams are built and that is ok. No excuses, we asked for it and we got it. Learn from it and move on. My son said Saturday film and Monday morning practice were both rough....Boonville will likely get the hate from the week. -

PAC Week 3 Games
HHPatriots replied to HereComesTheBoom's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Nail on the head. I have heard a mountain of whining about this school and "why were we playing them?" It's pretty simple, you don't get better by dropping 60 on Tell City and going home. That does nothing for Tell City or us. The game against CAL short of a few things could have been 21-14, but things happen, that's football and the small things will destroy you as we know. A little humility never hurts. As it stands currently, the top 3 in 3A are in the same sectional.....you will never get out of sectional playing cream puffs. Mater Dei should be higher than that. Just sayin -

Indeed. Saturday film was not a good experience, and practice yesterday morning was long and rough. Some non-seniors will likely get some opportunities to prove themselves due to others resting. Should be a good home opener as we put the previous Friday behind us. -

Yeah I suppose. Everybody wants to win, but getting out of this game without injuries would be a win. Staying competitive would be a win as well. This is a team that has 5 or 6 Jett Goldsberrys and has them every year. I am looking forward to see how we match up. -

We beat OC in a 7 on 7 tournament (in the final game) this summer. That means nothing, but it was fun to beat them on their field at Kentucky Wesleyan. -

Probably just head trauma. -
As a neutral, objective observer I wouldn't necessarily say "favorite" but they have a shot this year. Southridge is a question mark as I don't know if they are as good as normal, North Posey struggled with Mt. Vernon and Forest Park has 18 seniors and has improved from years past which were terrible. As PerrycountyFan said, after 1 week of football there are some odd things that popped up and as they say left more questions than answers. I will say this about Tell City--the Terry boys are as much fun to watch as anyone in the conference. Impressive speed, strength, athletic....they would be key players on any team in the Tri State.

You and me both! HH vs CAL Friday, August 30th 6:30 pm CDT Kickoff **EARLY KICKOFF** @ Christian Academy Louisville - Centurion Stadium History Of The Matchup Heritage Hills (1-0) @ Christian Academy Louisville (1-0) Christian Academy Louisville - Centurion Stadium Friday, August 30, 2024 6:30 pm CDT Kickoff **EARLY KICKOFF** This is the 1st time Heritage Hills and Christian Academy Louisville will meet on the gridiron! Heritage Hills hosted Daviess County Kentucky in a varsity football game in 1977, winning 12-9. This remains the only out-of-state opponent they have played in the history of our program. On Friday, they will travel to Louisville to face Christian Academy Louisville, which will be a great battle between two storied programs with winning traditions. Christian Academy is coming off of a season opening 27-17 win over the Owensboro Red Devils. Our Patriots started off the 2024 season with a great 43-14 win over the Southridge Raiders and hope to build on their success this week against a very talented CAL football team. ______________________________ GAME & TICKET INFO NO outside Food or beverages may be brought into the stadium. Hey, that is Tell City's fault, they dropped us. Although it was past time for that to happen after the conference split. Word is that South Spencer will be doing the same soon which also needs to happen. Having friends/family in TC this was always a fun game. FP HH GS PC NP SS SR TC Wash

USA Today Network media poll Week 2
HHPatriots replied to crimsonace1's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Our offense has some things to work on. The defense on the other hand appears to be very, very good. The 14 that SR scored Friday was not on our varsity D. One score was due to a disaster (fumble) in the end zone and the other was in the 4th quarter with much of SRs varsity against our JV defense. Of their 120ish yards of offense, I believe more than half of that came in the 4th quarter. The offense is concerning and at this moment (it's early, I know) is NOT a November worthy offense. Friday night we will likely face the most athletic DBs we will see all season, it could be interesting if we pass much....last week we were about 50/50, pass/run. -

Yeah, I should have clarified that while they may be the Chatard of KY, I doubt they could beat Chatard.... These are valid questions, I think we all assumed that NP would dominate this game. -

This has been a painfully long week.... We kick off the season with our oldest and most competitive rival! Let's get this party started!!!! Oh and the Colts cheerleaders will be there.... HH vs Southridge Friday, August 23rd 6:30 pm CDT Kickoff **EARLY KICKOFF** @ Southridge High School - Raider Field History Of The Matchup Heritage Hills (0-0) @ Southridge (0-0) Southridge High School - Raider Field Friday, August 23, 2024 6:30 pm CDT Kickoff **EARLY KICKOFF** This is the 58th time Heritage Hills and Southridge have met on the gridiron and the Patriots lead the series 40-17. Southridge is one of only 3 teams that was on the Patriot football schedule in their inaugural season in 1972 that the Patriots have played at least once every season since. We have 48 guys on our roster (grades 10-12) and all of them have been preparing for our first game with great excitement. The freshman class is a talented group of 15 players who will open at Southridge on Thursday, August 22nd, at 6:00pm CDT. All of the young men in our program have worked extremely hard this summer to become stronger and faster. This year’s Patriot football team will be led by a group of 18 seniors, many of whom gained valuable varsity experience last year, as we fought our way to Lucas Oil Stadium. As the 2024 season begins, our goal is to be in the mix for a PAC and a Sectional Championship! Head to Huntingburg this Friday to cheer for the RED, WHITE, & BLUE! He was hanging out on Christmas Lake a couple weeks ago with a group of kids, or young adults I should say (my daughter was there). His family is a welcome addition to our community. I'm just mad at them for not showing up about 8 or 9 years ago!!!
