  1. Irate? Try ecstatic. Nothing pleases me more than Notre Dame fans crying for relevancy. College football passed the Domers by long ago. Hope they’re shut out completely sooner than later. Couldn’t happen to a better program either.
  2. Who cares? They can join the MAC and play for the G5 national championship every year for all anyone is concerned. This idea that college football needs to revolve around a single team that should be given preferential treatment so they can pretend it’s still 1972 is ridiculous.
  3. Ya everybody but the committee and the $7 billion dollars ESPN paid for the media rights. Nobody cares about Notre Dame. They are a has been program who hasn’t won shit in 40 years. I’m sorry facts hurt your feelings.
  4. The P4 conferences should form their own tournament and tell Notre Dame to pound sound. I’m here for it. Join A Damn Conference
  5. Tulane plays in a conference, won it, and was one of the top 5 highest rated conference champions that gains them automatic admission to the playoffs. This isn’t hard. This process has been known for 2 years once they expanded the field to 12. Every AD, including Notre Dame’s, signed off on this format. Join A Damn Conference
  6. Tulane earned the right to get blown out, big difference.
  7. You’re free to do whatever you want, just know that there have been 37 national champions since ND’s last one and will be 38 after this year regardless of your feelings. This is EMBARRASSING behavior. Never seen anything like it.
  8. Lol Laughable that you think the SEC needs Notre Dame. There’s no less than 6 teams in the SEC more relevant than Notre Dame today.
  9. That’s what they’ll be saying about the 2025 Pop Tart Bowl for years to come. Sad
  10. The system isn’t set to pit the 12 best teams against each other. It’s designed to reward the top 5 highest rated conference champions and take the 7 best at-large teams to eventually determine a champion. Whether or not Notre Dame is one of the best teams in the country is purely subjective and in this instance irrelevant.
  11. So tell 80 some teams that their season is worthless and they have nothing to play for? Join A Damn Conference.
  12. When the top 5 highest rated conference champions get an automatic bid (a process that all the AD’s voted for), ND does themselves a disservice by choosing to remain independent. You’re leaving it up to the committee to essentially determine if you’re one of the best remaining 7 at-large teams. When you play a weak schedule and lose to the two best teams on it, you’re playing with fire. Notre Dame played with fire and got burnt.
  13. Ok? They were still 2-10 and didn't beat a P4 team all year. We all know that ND had to go into total survival mode after starting the year 0-2. They were bound to run up the score on a few teams no? Thumping your chest on margin of victory of a 2 win team is WILD.
  14. Arkansas went 2-10 lol.
  15. They could do a lot worse than Brian Kelly. Tommy Rees name keeps coming up.
  16. Got better because you played one team of consequence from week 3 on.
  17. It’s arguably one of the best. It’s better than any win ND or Miami has. Bama’s resume is better than Miami’s and Miami beat ND head to head to secure the last at-large spot. Way too many butthurt ND fans over looking this aspect.
  18. Bama has arguably the best win in the country (at Georgia) and their 2nd best win is better than any win on Notre Dame's schedule, not to mention their SOR and SOS are all better than ND's. Bama's 3rd loss came in the conference championship game....Notre Dame doesn't even play in a conference.
  19. No. Bama is the 9 seed, Miami the 10 seed. Miami is the last at-large team in the field. Miami jumped Notre Dame after BYU lost because there was now no buffer between the two.
  20. Last years had 2...
  21. Miami was the last at-large team in the field. Notre Dame lost to Miami on the field. That's why Notre Dame isn't in the playoff. Acceptance is the 5th and final stage, you're almost there.
  22. Definitely on the bargaining phase in the stage of grief.
  23. What would have happened if Notre Dame.... Simply beat Miami? Or Texas A&M at home? Played in a conference perhaps? Didn't play a dog**** schedule the last 2.5 months out of the year?
  24. How does Warde Manuel still have a job?
