I would love to see how many people in the USA had schools named in honor of their parents, and themselves.

Here's a doozie- The County Conference! Brown County Crawford County Franklin County Jay County Jennings County Switzerland County Union County The icing on the cake for this one is that Turkey Run no longer exists!

@eschnur66 There was apparently a feasibility study done on this- By far the cheapest option is to just renovate. If Terre Haute has a declining population the most cost-effective thing they could do would be to renovate the three current high schools, and close down their feeder middle schools, similar to what EVSC did with North J/SHS. Why would a school in Indianapolis travel to Terre Haute, if they have similar schools next door? Why would Bedford, Bloomington, or Martinsville travel to Terre Haute, when they have smaller schools next door? Why would Terre Haute's neighbors play them now that they are gigantic?

-and doing so would be an absolutely awful decision for Terre Haute. Elkhart is next to Penn and Warsaw. Terre Haute has no other large school neighbors.

If the Terre Haute weren't bleeding enrollment, I would have Columbus North and Perry Meridian swap conferences. I do think, long term, that Center Grove and Franklin Central need to trade places as well.

My bad, I forgot to move WV to the Big Ten in my original post.

I would keep Kokomo with Lafayette and Logansport. The "old" NCC. I'd also move Shelbyville and Covenant Christian to the ICC, and put Plainfield, Mooresville, New Palestine, and Fortville in the Circle City Conference.

Remove Nebraska, Minnesota, and Iowa, and give them West Virginia. This way, the Big XII will have 12, and the Big Ten will have ten!

Thank you; I just looked at football classifications. A lot of schools in the Hoosier Heritage could swap into the North Central Conference at this point, because the enrollments are a lot closer.

I thought they were a little too small to be included.

At this point, I think we have sufficient evidence to say that many of the conferences in Indiana, as well as several school corporations, are in dire need of reorganization.

It sounds like JC can trace a lot of their success on the gridiron back to him.
