  1. Ah. Guess that works. Our schedule seems to be getting changed alot this year. Looks like adding Rock Creek over Farmersburg...CC at 8 means we dropped Washington after 1 year (rather play Washington). Maybe we can get Providence down the road too
  2. Also awaiting on some official word on Crawford County. At one point they had talked about going independent for football and coming back later but PLAC said no. As of about a week ago a newspaper article said they were going to stay. However according to Harrells WW, Mitchell and maybe other appeared to have dropped them. WW has Clarksville week 2 and CC listed against Eastern.
  3. Im excited. I've heard but good things from Paoli people so far. Very curious how the offense will look! Will you be returning to OC?
  4. O no not by me. I dont know much about him outside of he ran the flexbone at Paoli. After seeing no huddle shotgun for last like 15 years or so itll be interesting to see that transition if he chooses that path again. I watched some LaPorte games last night and they were run heavy but shotgun (similar to WW last year). Looking forward to finding out what info I can as it comes along. Just get all the kids you can to play and hopefully it leads to titles. Excited for the future
  5. Regardless it appears we have our new coach. Heard noting but good things from paoli people so far. Here is to hoping he will continue to build what we have and get us to Lucas.
  6. Agree with Turf. But also the next HC gets us back to state. Been close last 2 years....ready to get over the hump!
  7. Thank you! Good for North Decatur. Hopefully all the teams find some stability.
  8. I agree to an extent and as stated have no dog in the fight. But as you stated what does playing Clarksville (recently dropped for Floyd Central) pekin, Scottsburg do for SC in post season? If you can compete with these schools in every other sport why not take your lumps in football and be better prepared for tourny play? I agree they arent ready for CE to come down here or maybe even NA. The area itself seems to be rapidly growing. Even Charlestown is like 75 students off 4A. To me I look at it as if im SC. If you continue to grow and gain more and more kids I feel youll outgrow the MSC. Next year if Clarksville doesn't go independent the conference will probably have 1A-4A schools. It just feels they are outgrowing them is all and im not sure where else they would go. Again....10 years from now
  9. Browsing around through Harrells i came across the schedule of Milan. They play in the Mid Indiana Football Conference. 6 teams. They have 8 of their 9 games listed with week 5 being open. Weird thing was only 1 of those 8 was a conference opponent. North Decatur of the same conference only listed 2 conference opponents. Does anyone know why or is this just an error on Harrells? Also thought we could use this as a spot to list other conference moves. Such as it appears all but certain Clarksville is going independent in football
  10. And ill agree with that. Which is why I wondered if scheduling Jeff and Floyd was an "audition" of sorts. I mean if they prove they can hang over next few years and you do favor 8 teams (admittedly i do too. As a PLAC/MSC follower i enjoy different teams playing and new venues to visit) would you want the HCC to add them and remove say Jennings Co who seemingly is a terrible at football? I dont follow the big boys often so im genuinely asking.
  11. Well you're the one who said they are another Madison. That's how this got started. He listed proof in tons of areas (other sports) that dispute that claim and all you have said is "they didn't win sectional." I have no dog in this fight and don't get on here to just argue but Silver Creek is better then Madison. Will they leave MSC or could they even be a top force in HCC in say 10 years? Who knows. But they wouldn't just be bottom feeders year in and year out. Thats my opinion
  12. I think they are already better then Madison. I didnt mean join today but if they can prove in next 5 years or so they can hang or beat Jeff/FC/ and maybe eventually NA why wouldn't the HHC take em in? Time will tell. Just be interesting to watch next few years
  13. Dont like Silver Creek?
  14. Is Silver Creek refusing to play conference opp clarksville and auditioning for New conference or what?
  15. Im gonna request we get this on some shirts. 😂
  16. WW field is named after former coach Art Sanders and our new Ath complex is named after Phillip Bowsman.
  17. West washington has posted their Head Football coach position per thier Twitter account
  18. Shouldn't @Tanka Jahari be telling us who the endzone camera MVPs are? The all American filmers? The rookie Video Grapher of the year? Where's the list!!
  19. I follow these threads alot and from a fan of a school who last 2 seasons has watched their team get beat like drum by privates it seems the problem is 1 thing: location. I really have no strong feelings one way or another about it to be honest. But it seems all these arguments revolve around Indy, Ft Wayne, Evansville. Of course its an advantage when you can pull kids from all over these areas. If a kid can't hack it at a larger school they can go there. Also see the arguement of open enrollment for publics and yes that works in certain areas. But that isn't a case at 90% of 1A schools. Anyone ever been to Campbellsburg? Let me know how open enrollment helps. So again I think the problem seems to be more around small schools in large metro areas. In all honesty I can the arguement for moving privates out of 1A but also see Rock Creek Academy struggling to do anything so far. So what if it was all privates were minimum 2A, but still kept on enrollment based otherwise. 4 yr cycles where you have to make the state title game at least 3 times to move up and make it 2 times to remain up (i think points for sectionals and regionals are silly). This is probably cause true heavy hitters like Cathedral to move but not punish schools like Evansville Mater Dei. Just spit Ballin as I read these threads.
  20. I wonder in 1A with alot of schools dropping are south (Forest Park, Providence, Clarksville) and North schools moving up (LCC, busco) which teams will move north in sectionals
  21. Yea. Meant that as itll be hashed out again in a week. Haha
  22. There is also an entire thread devoted to CC. So its been hashed out already for a week or so
  23. Now I'm just picturing Allen Iverson saying respect instead of practice.
  24. Ah. Makes sense. Didnt know that. Thank you and @Lysander
