  1. Nick Saban and Urban Meyer agree with you about Tulane and James Madison not being in the CFP.
  2. That could be true! Also, the Colts are right back in QB trouble after Andrew's retirement. It looks like there are ongoing problems with Anthony Richardson's eyesight, even though he's been cleared to practice.
  3. Well deserved!😎
  4. JT was doing just fine with Daniel Jones at the QB, and he's not Johnny Unitas by any means. He had some moments but faded after the Pittsburgh game. I do agree that a downfield passing game is beneficial to a RB.
  5. Wow, I thought I clicked on a Notre Dame thread!🤨
  6. Oh, the game was a cluster bleep, and the outcome was painful. The defense was stout and seemed to have an edge that's been missing. Richardson has been cleared to practice, so we'll see what next Monday brings. I believe Steichen loves Rivers too much to not start him. And AR sure isn't going to be ready for any meaningful action this soon. I guess there's no way that Riley Leonard gets on the field either, unless Rivers is injured or just runs out of gas.
  7. Like!
  8. Well, whatever the reason, it's about time someone woke up in Bloomington. I'm glad they did, so I have someone to root for during the CFP.
  9. All that's quite true, but why wait until 2024 to take football seriously? It's a big money maker and has been even before NIL. Football has been in the shadows of basketball at IU forever!
  10. This is by far the best Colt effort of the season. Grupe just kicked a 60, yes 60, yard field goal with :47 seconds left o take a 16-15 lead. The Seahawks only need a FG to win it with only 25 seconds left. Seahawks win it with a 56 yard field goal. The Seahawks didn't score a TD today. Great Colt efffort today!
  11. It was a slobber knocker, as usual!
  12. Coach Cignetti and Coach Freeman ain't goiin' anywhere! Write that down! They're both quite secure, and well compensated, where they're at.
  13. Well deserved! It was nice to see half the Heisman finalistx from Indiana schools also!
  14. After all, it is big business now!
  15. It was good to see Jeremiyah Love get the Doak Walker for best RB, and the Disney award for citizenship. He's quite an impressive young man!
  16. I guess Jeff George wasn't available!
  17. And the Irish whipped up on IU, Georgia and Penn State. Good luck to Irish, no tears here. Have fun watching Tulane and James Madison.
  18. An "expert's" view of the situation: College football power ratings: Which teams missed CFP but made expert's final top 15?
  19. I will be watchin' the Hoosiers though!
  20. I guess I won't be watchin' the Irish in a Bowl Game: Notre Dame joins Iowa State and Kansas State in declining bowl bids No further comment from me on this. The system that allows JMU and Tulane to play for a chance at the national championship is flawed, unmercifully! That's all, folks!
  21. Well, the Colts didn't cover the spread.
  22. Absolutely! Vandy and Notre Dame should be in instead of Alabama, Jim Madison and Tulane. It should be the best 12 teams and not a basketball type selection! The committee should be totally embarrassed! The "commissioner" of the CFP committee is on now. He doesn't have a clue!
  23. That's a disgraceful bunch of bull! Alabama, Jimmy Madison and Tulane in! As I said earlier, the MAC champ will be the next one to be named to the CFP! And this proves my point that Alabama makes the playoffs no matter their record! Oh well, the Irish will get a nice payday from a decent bowl game, and their contract with NBC!
