The parking is what stops them from building on campus..the old home depot on coliseum is just up the road...that spot would be perfect..just need to shake the right hand😉

1) Homestead- until someone beats them they are the top flight in the sac..after a slow start against Northrop their seniors showed why they have the bell.. 2) Snider- garnered the nickname of the "U" although they currently look like the university of o/d lineman..offense n st look dangerous..can their "D" make them a complete triple threat? 3) Luers- who let the Dawgs out?? Coach Lindsay (coach k) has those knights rocking n rolling with swagger police patrolling..if they can win their next few games they might need an escort to the games..😎 4) North side- The legends have athletes all over the field..they have them on the bench..they have them playing both ways n special teams..if they can bounce back from that emotional loss..it will pay dividends for their program moving forward. 5) Dwenger- *Bulletin board alert*...rebuild or reload? Big cyo fan n those kids just win..no matter who is on the field..they showed they still have enough to power past wayne..do they have the firepower to make bring the bell back?.. the top four can score 35+..if bd limits that (per usual) this could be their year.. 6) Northrop- put up a tough challenge in the first half..Doerfler has them moving in the right direction..once they put together a full game..the bruins will be a tough out.. 7) Carroll- They will score..they will play for their coach..they will give their amazing student body a show..yet will they win? They have a few holes to fill n unfortunately may be a year or two away again.. 8 Wayne- the generals are in good hands with haydock..have they fully bought in to what he coaches? Need more heart..less talk 9) Concordia-New coach..new nuances..they will be a threat in 3a this year..if they stay healthy and win their fair share of games..kudos to them 10) South Side- not sure what else can be said for this program..new coach as well..yet it can't start n stop with him..too much talent walking the hallways n not the sidelines..

May differ depending on the area of the state...id say luers over carroll although some of us "seasoned" observers would beg to differ..congrats coach k..

Figured Luers could scare them..4 the knights to pull out the victory makes the cyo feeder programs look amazing..

Now that other teams have game film the panthers will have to sure up their opportunity areas..a win is a win and won't get any easier from here on out..heckuva kick at the end n that O line was the best position group imo..

The next Anthony Spencer n Austin mack aren't walking the halls for Luers...or are they?? Those cyo teams get talent out of nowhere sometimes..when the coach for them played safety they could have beaten the likes of carroll..I still believe in their feeder system..yeah its a get off my lawn thing yet at least I can admit it..

I agree with most..on the fence with wayne..haydock has had all summer n may have some tricks up his sleeve..north side reveled im their victory last yr n opening at home will give them some confidence n their d coordinator is legit.. it won't take long to see if those cats from last yr became Dawgs this fall for Snider...if Luers can keep scoring..that game may be closer than many think..quick strike vs quick strike or..who faults first? South side wear green n white yet until I can stopping seeing so much yellow (penalties) with the archers ill go with the more disciplined team in the cadets.. now for my upset special..haha..the bruins will knock off sparty..doerfler(sp) coaching tree has fully taking over n sounds like they may have stopped the intersquad bickering this yr.. 2x defending sac champs..hey I had to pick one against the grain!

If Luers can score more than 28 they may put some fear into them..their offense is loaded..big guys up front..not so much

Think it may have been referring to grovers Whiteland post above..if Snider ever matched up with carmel again that could also be the case yet I believe the panther program would/will always welcome the challenge..I posted a few months ago suggesting the largest (possibly best) class have first rd sectional championship games..two large communities going for hardware from jump..I don't want to water down titles..giving more communities/programs opportunities to win in the post season will help grow n sustain the sport n whatever helps get more kids on the gridiron is what id vote for..

They were coordinators with Dinan being the offensive guru n Tippman being the firey defensive leader. When Isaacs(sp) left the decision came down to these two outstanding gentlemen..both brought their own spin on how to approach the sidelines and both had HC capabilities...imo they had mutual respect for one another just stunk to lose one yet I can respect his decision on wanting to lead his own program.

Tippy usually is on his p's and q's when speaking with the press..can't imagine him discrediting any potential sectional foe..I've learned over the past few years to translate a leaders words into what he really meant..he is suggesting that a matchup with Dwenger could be epic..I doubt he overlooks any opponent..I've said it b4 n will always believe if he n Dinan could have co-existed the program would have reached and maintained a completely different level.

The game constantly changes..I've been on the field where the defense called out the offensive play we were attempting to run n they still couldn't stop it..a buddy that played in the NFL said the same thing happens at that level...it may be more about signals being sent in rather than teams knowing what formations are being used...I could see a potential issues when wrinkles are introduced during playoff time..security!!!😁

Good call out..anyone know the longest distance between schools in the top tier conference's..or any conference alignments that require "distant" traveling?

Possibly..I still remember them losing to new pal after I wagered with a buddy who took "the field"..yes I'd still make that wager again yet dont mind an underdog..in theory they are 4a correct?

Trai played TE in high-school didn't think he would be OT until Nw convinced him. He played DE too..yet technically speaking that could make moore the guy if trai went as a TE..

If you're a big enough program to be deemed the highest then yes..the first game you play would be for a sectional title..not every school..just the biggest..give em a few bye weeks..unfair advantage..yes..risk of injury during practice..yes..the pro could be the "mega" programs would probably travel well n the gate would make back the money of them not playing the first 2 weeks..I do not want to dilute titles...when communities experience those runs they can be gamechangers n..state champs no..maybe a sectional title(1) in their record book..I know hardware isn't the only motive yet it sure helps to see ur possible future high school do damage come tourney time..

This is true. The past few years have seen some teams derailed due to kids being kids which usually didn't hurt as much..student athletes have to uphold the standards set before them n im sure every team goes through that. These next few years will be telling...those $200 handshakes could helps with facility upgrades if tippy n ziembo play their cards right 😁..dwenger was able to elevate their campus and maybe Snider could do the same. At one point I was told parking would be an issue..you don't build a stadium due to parking concerns??? Redo the whole setup n remodel the weight rooms again n boom..right on track..now if anyone could only get ahold of mr Woodson we'd be all set!
