True, those D1 lineman are gamechangers in lower classes. Pioneer had one that played both sides and kicked a few years back while having two of the fastest guys in the state. Lineman got hurt against Luers, the knights ended up coming back and winning the game to go on to LOS.

True yet they did get past them last year, although its tough to smack the same person twice.

Ever since AC moved up from 1A they haven't just been winning, heck they been hurting boys (one of the best lines from the moview Friday night lights). Seriously though, I keep watching for someone to give the Jets a game and every week I am shown that those flying jets drop bombs in Berne...er...Decatur.. Thought Andrean would be their demise last year, yet here we are again...Come AC people, how many of those Bellmont kids are wearing red and white...all the talent at one and none at the other??

North put up a fight with that senior transfer qb, almost as if whoever had the ball last would win the game. I give the Legends plenty of shots on here yet they were a talented team that with the right coaching could have made some noise. The RB from concord put the game on ice late, the cutback was crazy, not ala reggie bush usc, it was a thing of beauty though. Michigan City seems to have some mojo, their stadium and fan support are one of the best I had the pleasure of seeing this year. I think the wolves may slip past those pesky pirates.. And yes, yes, New Pal will have two thanksgiving feasts this year...i know..

I can see that Concord did what they needed against the legends, dont really see them moving past regionals though. That RB for the minutemen though, if someone wants to see what a 4.5 40 looks like in high school, watch the tape.

Eh..if 3 regional titles were won then maybe.. if the 2 private schools go it will b the pp factor

I watched the film, imo that that 40 time may have been a generous click from coach. At the high school level anything under a 4.5 "pops" as track guys who run under 11.0 seconds cant run under 4.5's. If he had legit run a 4.49 he would be getting the calls, matched with those stats it would be a no brainer..

Bruins by 1- I dont like picking the Orange and Brown for anything yet Bowen may have something magical here. They got every bounce needed to win that sectional semi final against the panthers and i have heard some rumblings that everything may not be as it seems in charger land. Northrop is loaded with transfers and those seniors are upset they let one slip away. If they watch the film of Dwenger game, they have the keys to win this one late. I know most will pick the chargers and I am an underdog here and think they can pull it out due to Bowen showing no fear, his team wont either...Well sounds good anyway! Minutemen by 10- The hype train once again comes to an end without a sectional title for year 35. Legends seem to have lost their way, still partying after losses may be a contributor or perhaps too much "look at me" culture drains the energy of a good team once adversity punches them in the mouth. D1 talent that can not win a sectional? If they dont know what do with a top nationally ranked recruit, watch some film on northrop. Give the ball to your top guys and get the eff out the way (unless you're blocking of course). Saints by 3- Speaking of getting the ball to your best playmaker, I get lulled to sleep with the Dwenger's offense wondering why they are not just kicking field goals after getting across mid field. They start slow then slowly wear down their opponents, like deaths by papercuts. East Noble may have been overlooking the Archers, they seemed to not be focused until they absolutely had to score points and win the game. South was gritty, just didnt have the bodies needed to make those plays when it counted. The knights will need to limit mistakes as Dwenger will bring out those tippman construction vehicles and attempt to grind the game out...kind of basic, almost elementary style...dare I say a CYO game? Knights by 4- CYO in november? Say less..honestly though, the knights are extrememly young and yes i know most kids have moved up by this time in the year, only worry for them is that usually once a team is put out of the playoffs after a gr8 run, they train immensely over the offseason, with the hopes of meeting and crushing that team next year. Here we are, its their chance to show that Luers (Drago) is a man, he bleeds too rock! Seriously though, i'd bet coach K sits with his dad and watches film, along with all the other great coaches that have roamed those sidelines. You dont become a playoff machine with no legendary assistance, however, machines tend to break every now and then. A fg and missed PAT declares the winner.

I agree, these are high school kids and D1 talent always scares me come post season, especially first round. I have seen NFL talent defeated during the postseason though. I know Dinan will have them laser focused, well as much as possible, halloween and cheerleader girlfriends are a heck of a combination for some lads! 10 years ago kids from Carroll were ducking out of bounds, damn I wish Dinan could have stayed.

How can a school that large not have the talent on the lines? No wrestlers, shot put or discus guys to pull from? I will give Isaacs credit for churning out linemen, even the smaller ones gain great technique. Do they not have enough coaches? im not talking Northside with more coaches than players, yet at least enough for a solid O-Line coach that could learn a thing a two from some camps? Sorry North, they are just an easy target..
