I am wondering how long it will be before someone claims a drone's live feed is assisting with stealing signs and signals from their opponents...

Temp’s Top 25 (Week 3)
Justasportsfan replied to temptation's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Carmel is lurking in 6a North, CP and possibly Penn may keep it within 10 though.. -
I hear what you're saying, as a snider alum, I thought every program dealt with kids occasionally falling out due to whatever was ailing them. Years past, none of this was reported and everything was kept in house. If you had a kid that was out there and told to push through to only be told go to the ER later on, how would you address the situation?
-
Snider has always had medical staff at practices, trainers and sometimes doctors. As with this case, the student athletes spoke with the athletic trainer who told them to "push through it". I can not disagree with you on the negligence and behavior of the coach. I do not recall any staff member ever speaking about heat related illness'.

I hear ya, 3 sport guy myself who thought I was good in all temps in those 2000's. We would occasionally have someone throw up and keep going.. Dizzy would have gotten water and walk a lap. We trusted our staff to ensure we were properly hydrated yet we were not allowed water whenever we wanted during our 3 a days.. An all conference lineman lay flat on his face, kicked by the coach while yelling for him to get up. Once he didnt move, the trainer stepped in. He was back at practice the next day. I'll ask you this, if your coach told you to keep going after you told him you were dizzy, would you? Would you have feared any repercussions from stopping on your own accord?
-
As athletes, kids are told to listen to their coaches and training staff..we fall out, we go home hydrate and rest. Back in the day you never really heard of student athletes passing away due to practice conditions and for the most part you feel invincible as a high schooler. You say I cant go anymore coach, they direct you to do sit ups and push ups, once you cant do that and go into full body cramp is when the trainer says too much. If I thought there was a chance of death on the practice field due to conditioning I would have stopped and possibly quit. It was unknown subject at that time. These kids now a days wear heart monitors and everything else. I know its silly yet as kids we dont really think about our own health. Either an aunt or grandmother.

Yes or an over zealous relative. Problem is, one is definitely a legacy kid whose dad and uncles played for the panthers in their hey day. Kid was a stud last year too. I work with pediatric patients and their families. Had the opportunity to meet with a few, their care team did say same some cases were extreme. Not all 19 of course, yet a few were in dire conditions. These players have yet to suit up this year.

NE INDIANA FOOTBALL

The Pirates and Cavemen are due. They both have played up a class and should enjoy being being in their current classifications while they can. They may not win it yet at least their communities will visit LOS. -
I will (speak) type out of both sides of my mouth on this one. This scenario has happened quite too frequently, this year is the first time with so many players involved though. The staff told players to push through it, as in previous years, I will also say Snider is probably not the first program to have players suffer heat related illness' and have a student fall out or experience full body cramps causing them to miss school and potentially a game. Before now, the program has kept these incidents under wraps as many others probably have. I am only wildly guessing that other programs have similar issues that never get reported for whatever reason. Kids complain about being in the heat, coaches and trainers draw the line about when its too much, however, they get blurred and things happen. If Snider is the only program where this happens I would be shocked. I am also shocked that as former players we never knew the harm we could actually be facing during these workouts.

I seen the article this afternoon, that story keeps getting uglier and some of their top players were involved. IMO, the coach for the bruins knew the family of the young man in question. It is a few on the roster with snider ties, including him. One school is free to attend, other than that, not much may incentivize a transfer from Luers especially off making a state title game run. Im going to start a grassroots effort for bowen and Quale lewis to be in line as coaches for the future panthers. That stadium name could see an ammendment as well...js.

Only had one or two throws that he missed wide open targets, he has been pressured on almost every dropback. When the senior class were sophmores, they had tons of talent..some of those student athletes did not make it to their senior campaign for whatever reason...Snider can not afford to have talent walking the halls...similar to BD...Maybe them being in 6a was too much of a downer and they simply just want to have fun this year. Dancing after getting a first down and touchdowns while losing is crazy work...yes the D can not stop neither the pass nor the rush..missed tackles..getting ran over by a freshman rb... I know this may cause a mutiny..the head coach of Northrop seems to have some of the names on his roster that are snider alumni kids...ziembo may want to consider him moving forward as he is a former panther that instituted the current offense while he was oc..still a few disgruntled parents from the news/hospital fiasco and some of those players have not touched the sidelines after that incident..gives a varsity blues "kilmer" type of feel...A doctor familiar with the situation stated frats dont haze as much, and if they do, they should be kicked off campus...js

Scecina by 14- Cadets can score just need to make stops ala chatard game. If they can get that mojo back, watch out Archers by 6- These Giants are not from BD, South have experienced upperclassmen who expect to win (finally) Legends by 7- The hype train once again arrives for North, if they can limit their sideline antics to a minimum they may win an ugly one..a W is a W Roncalli by 17- Saints are adding in a few offensive wrinkles yet Roncalli is Roncalli..and if you dont know....you better calllllll somebody Bruins by 6- New haven will not be able to stop the pass and they will put up enough points despite missing an XP Westfield by 21- Sparty has all the facilites needed to get better, the rocks will give them a true "strength" test HSE by 14- Dinan the qb whisperer will rely heavily on their talented WR, HSE will gladly give their new signal caller a rude welcome to friday night lights East Noble by 3- Upset alert the Generals head coach attempts to play keep away, could come down to special teams and the knights are replacing their Kicker Luers by 7- Knights are loaded on their lines, coach K will enjoy the confines of Calhoun as they look to topple the Lions..or so they pray Snider by 1- Top talent has left the mighty panthers, although the cupboard is not bare, it may be 1 or 2 years out and their D will struggle with the Tigers scheme These predictions are slightly limited as no libations have been secured.

INSC 2025
Justasportsfan replied to NIFootballTigers's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Very true. I have only seen a team run a 3-3-5 stack once and that was in a playoff game. Most jump to a 5-2 when dealing with a run oriented scheme. Depth really does play a factor. -

If you have the athletes and they stick to their keys. One weak link and you're in for a long night. -
He was one of the leading rushers in the nation while at Ball State, yes a healthy 04 squad would have had a shot. That WC team had D1 talent in their backfield as well, would have been close(r).

I can get on board with the mojo aspect. All great points. Everyone loves a winner. Especially in today's age of streaming contests, getting butts in seats seems to get tougher by the year. If I were an AD I would follow some of the ideas you laid out, make it an event. The school districts probably have tons of red tape yet I have been to an East Noble game and their game day experience made me want to come back and at the time I had no ties to the program. Let the kids get face paint or do a psuedo combine for fun. Alumni in free if you sign up through the school. I would pull out all stops, yet as you say, if the tams is 0 for, there is not much anyone can do. -

Gr8 feedback. What, if any, advice would you give other programs so that they may continue to have community involvement on friday nights? Free tickets to feeder programs or at least maybe a discounted season pass? Any adults over 60 get in free? Heck adults over 50? -
I'll ask my buddy about that. He has expressed already that the rb room is talented with the incoming sophmore looking to be one of the best they've had in awhile. I was quick to remind him as well as others before we go comparing them to that 04 class, let us remember the starter ran a 4.4 and 4 other kids ran sub 11 100m dashes while the 2nd leading rusher was none of them. They will have their chances though.

I am just wondering so I can keep up with the times. $100 handshake has turned into $300? Always wondered what the scale would be..player A runs under 4.5 and weighs X should be paid Z. What formula do they use for NIL and how can I become a scout and get "properly" compensated for saying someone's kid is a 4 star? I'll rate your kid high, help him get 3m deal and i am only asking 100k...what a time to be alive.. -
