Kind of bothering to hear a coach say "there was no way we were winning this game tonight". I agree ya you were more than likely going to get beat, what tone does that set moving forward?
Chatard line looked very impressive along with the running back Taylor. Was hoping Concordia would have hung around but they played them hard the first half. Hats off to Chatard, that's a pretty complete looking team.
Smaller schools in the old conference wanted to move on. I thought I heard that Carroll wanted to move to the sac for quite some time but homestead was the one fighting it. Both school districts are growing like crazy, with new housing subdivisions being added like crazy. Homestead will start remodeling the school next year as Carroll finished a remodel in the last 6 years or so. Wouldn't surprise me to see a new highschool built sooner than later to help offset student numbers.
Homestead game was very close. Homestead scored with 0 on the clock to send to overtime. Botched hold by Noblesville on a field goal try in overtime gave homestead a field goal kick to win .
Becker is really impressive. Just wasn't Snider's year, they have a lot of good young athletes though and should be very solid next year. While I think homestead will win sectionals they better be ready for a Carroll team that can put some points up.
How about East Noble in 4a that no one seems to talk about ever. That's a scary team in Kendallville...As for my Luers knights it's gonna be though winning sectional. Never count a bad record Luers team down and out though.
Not sold on noblesville while I agree they play a very strong schedule, they have only scored 69 points on the season. Would they have the firepower to get in a shootout game with one of the fortwayne teams?
