  1. Late 3rd quarter New Pal 41 Pendleton Heights 6
  2. New Palestine 7 Pendleton Heights 3 Late 1st
  3. Actually a hot garbage start for the Dragons Pendleton Heights 3 New Pal 0 3 minutes left 1st
  4. So sensitive, no one is writing them off. Warren is clearly very good. Some are just of the opinion that there are better teams out there. Fun fact: other teams besides Warren are also allowed to get better.
  5. I agree except I'll take CG comfortably and LC over Pike.
  6. Agreed, but I also believe CG is better than WC with or without Steele. They gave away the opener.
  7. Warren by as much as they want.
  8. Thank you for making my point in regards to this year. And different winners year after year doesn't equal a grind, nor does it mean 5 or 6 teams in the league are tough year in and year out. You can get defensive all you want. But facts are facts and my point stands, definitely not a "grind" this year nor is it every year. Some years sure, maybe even quite a bit, but more often than not I'd say it's no more than 3 deep. Which is still better than most but 2 tough conference games in a 9 game regular season hardly constitutes a grind.
  9. I think it's pretty obvious that the "grind of the MIC" doesn't apply this year, nor does it apply every year like alot of MIC schools and supporters like to claim. Let's be honest about it. This year Warren, Carmel and Center Grove are very good teams, no one else is any more than average at best.
  10. New Palestine 28 Mt. Vernon 7 4 minutes left 2nd
  11. New Palestine 7 Mt. Vernon 7 4 minutes left 1st
  12. Closer than expected thus far End of 1st New Pal 27 Yorktown 0 On the night Spegal breaks the record it's been the Lincoln Roth show with 3 long TD passes
  13. New Palestine 7 Yorktown 0 Spegal gets the record on his 2nd carry
  14. They very well might be.
  15. I'll reserve judgment on Chatard until we see how they do against Cathedral, Southport, and then Terre Haute North and Bloomington South at the end of the year. But they're probably at least knocking on the door of the top 15, as is Michigan City.
  16. Absolutely!! And I would absolutely echo those sentiments about Coach Gaddis and the Olympians. As hopefully would everyone associated with the Dragons.
  17. Seems reasonable. I might switch a few around but that's a pretty good list.
  18. Offered preferred walk on.
  19. Great atmosphere, fun to watch. I hope Steele is healthy soon but I heard he might be out until the postseason. No point in rushing him back though. Make sure he's 100%. It would have been even more fun to see him and Spegal going back and forth.
  20. He's probably too humble to brag on his own kid too much so I'll do it for him. He looked like the best player on field last night. Period. Kid is everywhere, don't think he ever left the field. Just a monster!! After that performance I'd hope not. The Dragons just wore them down in the 2nd half.
  21. I know I'd hate to have to try and tackle that monster for 48 minutes. Such a punishing runner.
  22. Wasn't sure on Guerin. Thanks. BTW, your kid was fantastic tonight!! Such a pleasure to watch.
  23. Only a 2 year deal. Not playing CG or Kokomo out of conference next year. I've heard NP had trouble finding opponents but it's my understanding that next year the non conference games are Brebeuf and Guerin Very impressive performance and amazing atmosphere down there tonight
  24. The win wasn't surprising. The dominant 2nd half and 200+ against that defense for Spegal was.
