How did the Turkeys do it for so many years then?

So I assume Rambler Dan’s football season is over then correct? If they have the Covid’s this week hard to see how they won’t have it next week.

I have heard that Rambler Dan will be passing on playing the D1’s....hate to be an I told you so 🤷‍♂️

Just an honest question...if neither have Covid, why aren’t they playing?

So none of the Wolfs have Covid, none of the Vikings have Covid, but they aren’t playing the game?

I would really like to know the real story behind this. I sure hope for the Wolfs’ sake they aren’t the ones that canceled....would be such a bad look.

Who has the nerve to “practice” when the entire state was on a quarantine order?

It’s apparent we have some people close enough to the Wolfs’ program to answer this....what is practice time spent on? I think the Wolfs got dinged by the IHSAA back in the spring (when everyone was supposed to be on quarantine btw) for an illegal practice. I saw the videos posted. It was all offense...just saying. You are what you preach/work on.

Wolfs 72, West Vigo 12. Good to see the Wolfs grow a pair and play someone with at least a beating heart. What will RP’s status for the sectional be?

Wolfs 82, RP 4...with a grand slam in the bottom of the 6th. I’ve heard the same thing about RP youth teams. Hasn’t seemed to translate into HS success yet? I’ve also heard the Wolfs are loaded in the younger grades in other sports...what’s up with football?? Covington 42, Tri-County 6. Trojans are in pure sleeper mode for sectional 45. Falcons 24, FC 6. NV needs another win, lowly Mustangs will oblige. Attica 48, South Newton 0. This is obviously a game Rambler Dan thinks they can win. Will this be Attica’s last regular season game? D1’s 48, Herbies 18. Not nearly as much hype to this game as the Wolfs game? This is the WRC championship game is it not? D1’s just have too much talent for the Herbies. Be prepared for a monstrous fireworks display at the end of the season on the banks of the Wabash in Clinton.

Ah, the dust has settled from week 6! Not many storylines this week: 1). Does Attica think they can win? As of today I think they’re playing, so they must think they can win. I can’t bet against them again (until they play SV.....or don’t play against SV). Attica 22, Covington 20. 2). Even though RP has been taking BP for weeks, they will find a way to win this game against the reeling NC T-Birds. RP 28, NC 6. 3). The Wolfs had a rough one last week. They scored a lot of points and still didn’t win. Look for the Wolfs to take out all of their frustrations on the struggling Falcons. This one could get ugly quickly. Wolfs 88, NV 0. 4). The Herbies appear to be rolling. Unfortunately, they are going to get the Bud’s at much fuller strength than last year. Sheridan 42, Herbies 30 5). The D1’s were able to keep their D1 status with a surprising upset win last week. This week will be an absolute sleeper for them. It will be a good week for the D1’s to get their D1 QB some stats. D1’s 72, FC 0.

Now that the game of the year in the WRC is over it appears that there is no interest in week 7 games. Will they name the D1’s the WRC champions?

The Wolfs not playing in week 1 is old news. I think the question now is, should they look to make their non-conference schedule stronger instead of beating up on the 2 lowly T-Bird football programs? Would a tougher game have helped prepare them better for the D1’s? It appears the D1’s just flat ran right over the Wolfs Friday night. One has to wonder if a more physical opponent early in the season could have possibly exploited the weaknesses that the D1’s obviously found Friday. Having said all of that, you have to give the Wolfs credit, their 3 losses in the last 2 years have been absolute shootout barn burner games.

Attica gets everything they deserve. I have heard through the grapevine that they had enough players to play the Wolfs and the Herbies but chose not to play. Attica is a dying town and school. There is no doubt about that, but it sounds like they need some humble pie served to them from previous years and their lack of mercy on others.

Brings up a great point....a lot of the old Turkey Run teams played with 15 or less players....and weren’t nearly as competitive as this Attica team is. Why couldn’t/can’t Attica do this? I am calling BS. I hope they draw either South Putnam or the Wolfs in the sectional....let’s see if they dodge that one.

Honestly, I hope the Ramblers beat Covington and then don’t play against the D1’s in the last week....just to create confusion as to who is the WRC champion. That would leave 2 undefeated WRC teams. Have they decided how they would name a WRC champion this year?

16 players. How many do you need to say you will play a game? I was told they wouldn’t play the Wolfs because they had one key kid out and that was it?

How many players does Attica have?

Don’t know anything about an injured player? Hopefully everyone got through the game healthy. Attica has kanivered their way around 2 of the 3 best teams in the WRC so far. My bet is they won’t play SV either. And yes, I have to agree. Seems like a long way from the Wing T and tough hard-nosed defense.

I can admit when I was wrong. Kudos to the D1’s. I guess they can stay as the D1’s after the big upset win. As for the Wolfs, they have score 25+ in all but 1 loss in the Hall of Famer’s tenure there. When does defense ever become a priority for them? I think the biggest topic of discussion the rest of the season will be if Attica will suit up and play in week 8 or if they will dodge the D1’s? Does Attica believe they can be co-champs of the WRC at 4-0? Definitely the most interesting story line of the rest of the season...given they beat the Trojans next week.

What a day in the WRC. Two epic teams set to do battle. D1’s vs. the Wolfs...I can’t hardly wait! Although after breaking down the matchup I am not sure it will be much of a game: Coaching: The Visor vs The Hall of Famer-total mismatch here. The Hall of Famer has forgotten more X’s and O’s than The Visor ever knew. Both are great hype guys however. If it turns into a game of hype then we could very well see a shootout. Johnson-Johnson vs Garzolini-Shew: I will go with J squared every day and twice on Sunday’s in this one. The Wolf howl vs a Wildcats’s purr-I’m guessing there will be a lot of Wolf’s howls tonight in Rockville. 36 Saloon vs Gerries: another epic matchup here, but the hogpit takes it over the top. As you can see, not looking good for the D1’s tonight. If they don’t get the Dub tonight I’m afraid they may have to be demoted to the D2’s?
