There is. Antonio's Italian is right down the road, great food. Downtown Elkhart 5-10 minutes away has plenty to choose from, nice brew pub Brass Elk brewing is down there and a few other eateries.

I just didn’t see how Elkhart was going to beat Snider. Their offense is worse than ours and I didn’t see them scoring much on Snider unless they got a defensive touchdown.

Idk if their other qb would have made a difference..they seemed to have alot of penalties..threw some bombs then stall out..few good runs..stall out..I did see a video that could have added a little more pressure that they really didn't need..mentally they were on the brink from jump street..Snider really had nothing going until after halftime..n I think completed 3..maybe 4 passes the entire game..

It will be a game time decision. He is still in the boot n its a grade2/3 high ankle sprain..kids at his age heal pretty fast yet as drake once said "sprained ankles ain't nothing to play with"..glad nothing is broken or torn..he has a bright future!

Here's something that we KNOW about R. Nelson Snider HS (and a LOT of IN schools that have been "there" before).

They will NOT try to win a game at the expense of physically hurting a player.  NEXT MAN UP!

Very true..the training staff has never put an athlete in harms way..nor should they..he was put in a boot asap vs the lions for that exact reason...I know some of their trainers n team doctors n personally know how much they care for those kids..

Elkharts offense might be worse than Sniders , but in this game Elkhart had way more yardage than Snider did .

They had a few plays that went for big yardage, they just couldn't do anything after that. Didn't they have one pass play that went for 50+ yards?

Elkhart had 231 yards total offense according to their MaxPrep page so they had 50 yards in the 2nd half. I know Snider had somewhere around 150 yards in the 2nd half so the totals for both teams were about equal

Snider's defense was lights out in the second half. Very impressive.

Elkhart just couldn't sustain anything. They'd get a big yardage play, then stall out three plays later. Or they'd put together a 30 yard drive before stalling out again. At the end of the day, the Snider defense held when it mattered most.
