Harbaugh's a good coach, but so is Cignetti. Just say it. Also admit that you're just here to ruffle ND's fans feathers. I don't blame ya, it's fun. But deep down, I know that you know that Notre Dame is pretty damn good this year.

Cignetti is good, Harbaugh is great.

I mean, Harbaugh’s successor just went into Columbus and did what Cignetti’s team couldn’t a week prior, with a walk on QB and 11 new offensive starters…sometimes you gotta send big brother in to take on the bully who beat you up.

As for Notre Dame, I’ll reserve judgment until they beat a ranked team that isn’t a service academy.

We gonna compare Bud Wright to Harbaugh next?

I have tons more admiration for a high school coach than I do college or NFL. So no, I'd never mention Harbaugh in the same sentance as Wright.

We're making progress. We both agree that: 

1. Both Cignetti and Harbaugh are great coaches. You won't say it, but I know you believe it. 

2. The twelve team playoff seems a little overrated now after spending two years being excited about it. 

3.  Ryan Day and James Franklin are both overrated and it would be in Indiana and Michigan's best interest if they retain their jobs. 

4.  Hillarious that Ohio State couldn't beat Michigan this year.

Can't compare a guy who has won at the highest level to a guy who has won at the FCS level and has had one year of success in the power 4...and you know it.

Now, can Cignetti get there in the next few years?  Sure.

Not gonna dodge Penn State and Oregon and get a down Michigan every season.

If we are gonna use "great" to describe Cignetti we need another superlative to describe Harbaugh.

I know sometimes Purdue kind of wants to do it the Purdue way, which I completely agree with, which is blue collar, sort of the underdog story. But when you’re talking about professional sports, and this is professional sports, you’re not asking the Oakland A’s to go beat the New York Yankees. And so you gotta at least get close to what other people are playing with.

Are you so sure about that?  I bet Jim himself would say his Dad Jack was a better coach.  Jim got a title at FBS....Jack a title at FCS.  (Western Ky at the time was FCS)  My guess is that Jim and John both will tell you they owe everything to their Dad...especially their coaching abilities.

Eddie Robinson is one of the best coaches in the history of college football.  Grambling is a FCS school.

Its been one hell of a fall for IU fans but stop drinking so heavily.  They don’t even have a game this weekend.

You've been critical of Cignetti from the moment he stepped on campus. Called him a "clown" I recall. It doesn't even matter if IU wins a playoff game. This season will go down as one of the greatest turn around stories of all time. It's not like this is a one off, he's won everywhere he's been...........google him.

Yep, and I stand by it.  “Clown” and “good coach” are not mutually exclusive.

Also, later called my own guy a clown.

We will see if it’s a one off…next year.
