Lawrence North 35 - North Side 20 - North takes a step up in competition 

Noblesville 38 - Homestead 28 - Sparty goes to 0-2

Wayne 28 - Riley 21 - Bit of an upset here

Snider 28 - East Noble 7 - Panthers pull away in the 4th quarter

Moeller at Dwenger - Never thought I'd say this, but I'm starting to feel sorry for the Saints. Not sure what's happening. Moeller by 42

Carroll at Center Grove - Not sure what to make of either team right now. Gotta roll with the gem of Central Indiana. Trojans by 21

Concordia at Eastbrook - It's hard not to be impressed with Concordia's win last week. Cadets by 10

Northop at Huntington North - Game of the week in my opinion. Great opening weeks for both teams. Bruins by 7

Luers at New Haven - Luers is Luers and this isn't the Bulldogs of last year. Knights by 28

St. Joe at South Side - Won't be the blowout it was last year. St. Joe by 10

Lawrence North at North Side - Good start for the Legends, but LN is a different beast. Lawrence North by 21

Noblesville at Homestead - Spartans need to quit scheduling Indy teams. Millers by 21

Riley at Wayne - Wasn't impressed with Wayne at all last week. Not going to count them out after one game though. Generals by 1

East Noble at Snider - East Noble's defensive line will be a breath of fresh air for the young Snider offense. Panthers by 17

Carroll at Center Grove...CG losing to 2 games in a row hasn't happened in 5 years. Carroll didn't show me anything last week that would make me think they could get it done...Center Grove by 17

Cincinnati Moeller at Dwenger...Another year of not getting a good read on BD until Week 3, maybe they should look into new out of conference opponents moving forward...Moeller by 38

East Noble at Snider...Panthers Defense looked as good as advertised in Week 1, hopefully the offense can get some rhythm against a weaker opponent. Snider by 14

Concordia at Eastbrook...Cadets proved me wrong last week. Think they can put up another good fight this week. Cadets by 7

Luers at New Haven...New Haven looked bad last week. Luers should be able to control this game. Knights by 20

Northrop at Huntington North...Northrop seems to have weapons this year, can they keep up the scoring pace to help the lackluster D? Northrop by 5

South Side at South Bend St. Joseph...Heartbreak for South last week, hopefully they don't let that spoil any momentum they had...St.Joe by 20

Lawrence North at North Side..Legends picked up an impressive win. But playing better teams Special Teams matter. LN by 11

Noblesville at Homestead...Homestead also needs to go the Dwenger route and switch up the out of conference schedule....Noblesville by 35

South Bend Riley At Wayne...the Wayne hype train is in question for me for having to claw out an OT win vs Attucks, could be the most competitive game of the week..Generals by 2

I've got to hand it to Dwenger for going with the "go big or go home" concept. But this isn't the same Dwenger program from a few years back. I agree that they need to ditch Brownsburg and Moeller. Getting blasted by those teams at the beginning of the season can't be good physically or emotionally.

This should be the type of schedule Snider plays, not Dwenger. East Noble has no business on the Panthers schedule. Even if they beat Snider, I will feel the same way. Next year we lose Warren Central and pickup Warsaw. Joy. East Noble, a 4A school, and Warsaw, a 5A school. Nothing to gain for Snider with either game.
