Donnie Baker Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 They are who we thought they were. Now crown their ass! Attica at little Trojans Ponies at NV The Woofs at RP Seegers at The Visors Quote
GroundSquirrel Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Why so quiet, the squirrel thinks the conference can get pretty nutty this week in the race for 2nd place. Everything we though would happen last week happened. The squirrel has a more in-depth power ranking for this week. 1. SV- The wildcats have taken care of business all season. Garzo 2.0 is the best QB, the best 3 receivers and TE in conference. Add in an improved O line and a workhorse back in Shryock and that's a recipe for an explosive offense. The wildcats have also gotten it done defensively, they held the premier backs in the league in Botner and Moore to under their season average and no one in the conference has been able to score more than two touchdowns on them. Best team in the conference hands down. 2. NV- Arod and the Falcons have done a great job of winning this year. Botner is by far their best player but Dawson has done good stuff as well. The Falcons defense is better and have forced turnovers which is the key to winning. Can the Falcons make some noise in the sectional? I think they potential to. 3. RP- Sanders and the Tenderloins can say they have had a successful year. The panthers have been physical all season and have played good teams close like Carrol and SV. I think RP has good days ahead which is nice to see. I think the panthers have potential to make some noise in the playoffs as well. I'm kinda hoping for an NV and RP rematch. But the Panthers are not the bottom feeder anymore. 4. Fountain Central- I know you Nutty folks are expecting me to put the Trojans here but let's show some love to Herb and the Stangs. After a rough patch the crew from Veedersburg is much improved and are making a case to be a dark horse. Foxworthy is the 2nd best QB in the conference and herb has got himself some hard nosed kids. 5. Cian Moore aka Covington- Covington is better this year and I mentioned an RP NV rematch but man I also would like an NV Covington rematch. Cian moore is a tremendous player but that's the thing, who else do the trojans have. I'm not hating if you have a guy like Moore give him the ball but is there anyone else who can contribute to the trojans? I like the trojans but IDK if they can pull off an upset in 2 weeks. 6.Seeger- Down Year for the Patriots, but that is bound to happen in small school football. I know they have kids coming and the fact the patriots are not as good this year doesn't mean they won't be in contention next year. 7. Woofs- The woofs are much more competitive this year and I think that should be a good sign of things coming in Rockville. The woofs probably won't upset anybody this year but they can make a statement for next year. 8. Attica- They have showed up every week, knowing they are gonna get beat. These kids have a ton of heart and I hope they don't remember the results of their career but the fight and character they developed playing Quote

WRC123 Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Only one game with any potential this week. The rest will be running clocks Attica @ Covington - Saw the Moore kid had 390 rushing yards last week... Look for the same stats this week. I've said it once and I'll say it again. Nobody's going to want to play Covington when the sectional rolls around. Covington by as much as they want. FC @ NV - Game of the week. Will Herb be able to get the job done this week or will Arod continue to win? I'm taking the home team. I think the Falcons are playing good football right now and I simply just think they are the better team. I think it'll be close but NV will pull away late. NV wins 35 - 21 PH @ RP - Panthers are rolling. PH did put up a better fight against NV than I thought they would. I know this has been a rival for a while now and I don't see RP being nice when the scoreboard hits zero. I'll take RP 63 - 12 Seeger @ SV - The champs by as much as they want. I believe the sectional draw is this Sunday? Correct me if I'm wrong! I'm excited to see how the draw goes for our WRC teams! Quote
Bear54 Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Week 8, sectional draw this weekend... Attica @ Covington - The Ramblers keep plugging away. Coach Dean is doing the best he can. Trojans should win this one fairly easy. Covington wins Fountain Central @ North Vermillion - The Mustangs have nearly climbed back to even after a rough start. The Falcons didn't play well last week at Rockville, but still pulled out the win. NV is tough to beat at home. I'm taking them in a close one. NV 41 FC 29 Parke Heritage @ Riverton Parke - County bragging rights up for grabs. The Woolfs showed some fight last week, and they will be ready for RP. The Panthers handled business at Attica and look to extend their dominance over their county rival. The Panthers pounding, beligerent style will eventually win the day. RP 40 PH 18 Seeger @ South Vermillion* - Best thing for the young Patriots is to finish out the season strong. They've taken their lumps this year, bur hopefully will learn from them. The Visors have too many athletes. Home teams sweep this week. SV 44 Seeger 8 Quote
Marshall Mathers Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 I am whatever you say I am, if I wasn't then why would I say I am? Anyway, as I stated before BORING. GOTW is FC/NV.. but doesn't mean much in the scheme of things. FC is playing better, NV didn't play well last week.. could be a good game. NV has more athletes, but FC has the MIGHTY Herb King. Congrats to the Barretts on their conference championship. May the visors and Gerries bread be with them for the Sunday draw. Quote

GroundSquirrel Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Where's the action you nutjobs, lets get the squirrel and his/she nutty predictions Attica @ Covington- Cian Moore might have 400 yards rushing. Trojans win by mercy FC @ NV- Game of the week. I really want to make nutty pick and take Herb and the STANGS but I think Botner has another big performance but I believe this game will be close. NV wins 34-26 PH @ RP- Not much to say Panthers are better. RP 45 PH 21 Seeger @ Wildcats- SV wins handily 48-6 Quote
DoctorShrimpPuertoRico5 Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Attica at the rubber complex. Cayenne Pepper could go for a bunch this week. Rubbers by However many they want. Ponies at North Side. Botner is still leading as best back in my opinion. He will have another big game. 35-14 North Side The Woofs at Tenderloins. Woofs gave a little fight. Don’t think it’ll transfer to this week. Give me Tenderlions 43-12 Seegers at The Visors- Enough said. Visors continue rolling as they start to prepare for sectionals. 56-7 Quote
