31-7. It appears Carmel fell asleep on the bus ride to Fort Wayne and woke up at HT.

We can do this all day, and my stance won't change in 2029. Not really sure why you brought it up. Homestead and Noblesville play the following week, and it's a 17pt win even without Homesteads best player. The kids were uninspired playing a one win team. They finally woke up when they needed to to win the game at the end. I want to say Noblesville jumped out in front 14-0.  If Homestead were healthy, Carmel would have been lucky to win by 14pts. Indy has it's way with Homestead every year, not sure why it's such a big deal to think that Homestead overlooked Noblesville that year. Or are you wanting to make a point the the HCC's worst team is as good as the SAC's best team.

HSE 20, Homestead 14 - third/fourth best team in the SAC

Snider  35, Homestead 0

Really want to do this?

I have a question.  I am from Michigan, but moved to Indiana 8 years ago.  What factors are considered to decide who has home field advantage?  I don’t understand why Crown Point is traveling to Penn.

I thought I told you to move on. Isn't this a crown Point vs Penn Thread ? Move on or you'll be forcefully removed from the basement .

Cp is better than last year ! A lot of experienced players on defense! A lot on offense! Some good add ons that have made them better! The goal is the title game for them which makes them an easy target for the game could be tight and maybe lose cause there eyes are bigger than the game in front of them! To win on the road is a tough task for any team ! The ride , the parades out of town confuses the mind!  Cp did it last year and won at Penn! This year might be different!  They  better be ready to play cause Penn is gonna bring it!  Go dogs!

Just gotta put up with him for a few more hours.  He will disappear once Penn is sent packing in a few hours tonight.

Just to keep the conversation going...... With CP's "weak" strength of schedule going into this game, IF they were to roll Penn by their typical 41-7 or 35-0 do they start to gain respect in some of the polls or is Penn another "weak" opponent? What needs to happen for an "ok, yeah they're legit" response after this game?

Is it 7:30 yet!?!?

Isn't there a Cross Country forum somewhere that you can get on . Leave the Football forum to people that have actually played the game or that are fans of a specific team . A player or fan that is proud of the school they support .

If CP doesn't win by 28+ , they are posers and will get exposed down the road . Just my .02

Crown Point is already legit, they proved that last season. Actions speak louder than words. The real work is done o the field. Polls are just for pretend.

Polls and forums keep us talking high school football during the week, I enjoy the dialog and hope to be driving home to a +28 point CP win. Go Dogs!!

Although very possible, this seems like you are being a little over the top calling them posers.

Agree, they are a legit team and quickly becoming a Northern power for years to come. They have the coaching staff, facilities, population growth, administrative and community support.

Not saying I don't like polls, I enjoy them as well, they are fun. Just saying they are for pretend. Take Sagarin for example, a fun poll for sure. Columbia City was a 9 point favorite over Dwenger before the Saints manhandled them by 37pts. You just have to take these "fun" polls for what they're worth.

Or is he talking about winning a championship ? Getting to the final game is one thing , winning it is another story .

More so I see the talk of "if they played an Indy schedule they'd only be 5-4", which might be the case but I can't wait to find out how we do stack up. I believe the defense is greatly improved from last year which is crazy considering some of the talent they lost. Our offense hasn't skipped a beat either, if beating Merrillville and Valpo weren't statement games who/when will be the first real test? Is it tonight vs Penn? would it be next round (if they do beat Penn) vs a Carroll/FWS or not until a Westfield in Semi's?
