Only had one or two throws that he missed wide open targets, he has been pressured on almost every dropback. When the senior class were sophmores, they had tons of talent..some of those student athletes did not make it to their senior campaign for whatever reason...Snider can not afford to have talent walking the halls...similar to BD...Maybe them being in 6a was too much of a downer and they simply just want to have fun this year. Dancing after getting a first down and touchdowns while losing is crazy work...yes the D can not stop neither the pass nor the rush..missed tackles..getting ran over by a freshman rb...

 

I know this may cause a mutiny..the head coach of Northrop seems to have some of the names on his roster that are snider alumni kids...ziembo may want to consider him moving forward as he is a former panther that instituted the current offense while he was oc..still a few disgruntled parents from the news/hospital fiasco and some of those players have not touched the sidelines after that incident..gives a varsity blues "kilmer" type of feel...A doctor familiar with the situation stated frats dont haze as much, and if they do, they should be kicked off campus...js

They also reversed recruited Dee Houge from Luers their best returning pllayer.

I seen the article this afternoon, that story keeps getting uglier and some of their top players were involved. IMO, the coach for the bruins knew the family of the young man in question. It is a few on the roster with snider ties, including him. One school is free to attend, other than that, not much may incentivize a transfer from Luers especially off making a state title game run. Im going to start a grassroots effort for bowen and Quale lewis to be in line as coaches for the future panthers. That stadium name could see an ammendment as well...js.

Well, these are teenage kids playing a game, not college or pro players, so public criticism of an individual player should be frowned upon

Worth going to a game just to watch Mang Tung. The kid is impressive. Looks like he could play another position other than kicker. Defensive back perhaps.

If they could get across the 40 yard line, he might be the not so secret weapon if the defense could wrap up. Him as a sophmore just proves how special of a team is needed if a program wants to collect a blue ring.

Well, very unimpressive win over hapless Wayne last night. Very well could be their last win this year. They will be underdogs in their remaining 5 regular season games.

Northrop is way up this year with two of the best athletes in the state on offense. North is up as well. Snider's really struggling this season for whatever reason. Underdog? Probably not, but those games could certainly go either way. 

Side note: Everyone is high on Warsaw, but Snider led them most of the way through three quarters, for what it's worth. My take? Snider's having an off year, for sure. Be leery of Warsaw, defense just isn't that good. I think Carroll, Dwenger, and East Noble are better than the Tigers. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Eh, I can’t get over East Noble needing a walk off touchdown to beat DeKalb. DeKalb is bad and has been for almost as long as Northrop. Most years, they were worse than Northrop.

Dwenger has a good defense, but that offense is not good. Everyone can pile on and say how good they are, they ain’t.

Carroll will win a bad sectional and get smoked in regionals. Nuff said.

Warsaw beating Snider is looking more irrelevant by the day. They gave up 30 points to Snider!! 30 points!!!

It would be ironic that in such a one-sided "rivalry" (I consider Dwenger to be Snider's biggest rival) if Northrop beats Snider in the last season that the teams will share Spuller Stadium together.

I think what you're discounting about that EN/DK game on Friday is that DeKalb's new HC was the Knight DC last year. Besides the extra juice to beat your old staff, he also understands--probably better than anyone--how to defend that offense and what tendencies they have in different formations. 

FWIW I think Northrop will dogwalk Snider. I've seen Northrop this year and they aren't the Northrop you're used to.

Snider was up 24-0 at half. Coaching staff hasn't ever put much stock into the final score. Sagarin ratings means way less to them than valuable playing time for the backups.

Eh, depending on what Dinan does. Bruins have seniors going on their last run, their offensive talent may win some hardware. I wouldnt be shocked if Bowen vs Dinan was the final...great for ratings..player vs coach. Sparty had them down yet we seen what they can do with that firepower. If they were to ever win a sectional, this would be the year. I can see them utilizing that OSU recruit in the backfield with the Luers transfer in the wildcat. Out number the D and run straight at em..Chargers losing to the saints while Roncalli pulled one out is not a gr8 look for 6a north..

I'm happy for Northrop and what they are doing. They certainly have the talent to make things interesting against Carroll. But four weeks in, I'm going to have to roll with a 14 point Carroll victory. The Bruins day of reckoning is in two weeks. We'll see how that goes.

Both schools have higher Sagarin ratings than Snider although they are close.
