Pretty proud of the job the Tiger Sports Network has done so far with our broadcasts. We took it in house this year after a few years with Indiana SRN. No charge to watch. Big numbers so far, especially for away games.

Is there much of a financial commitment - either from the school or some generous alumni - required to do this  or is it just a matter of getting the necessary equipment and commitment from the kids?   This is such a great service to older alumni or those who live out of the area.  My uncle - a RB for the Tigers way back in the day - never misses a game. I would love to get this going at MD too.

I think after using SRN for a couple of years we realized we could do it ourselves and not have to pay SRN. Jevin Redman does play by play and Mike Skavara does color, plus Josh Woody from WREF keeps stats. We have sponsors during the game.

If one of these streaming operations wants to do your games....they should pay YOU...not the other way around.

North with two turnovers in two possessions. Reitz with a 38 yard TD pass from Baumeyer to Bailey on a tip drill. Missed 2 pt. Conversion. 6-0 Reitz, end of first

Baumeyer just throws a 15 yd dime to Johnson (former starting QB). Missed xp. 12-0 Reitz

Memorial wins it in OT, 28-21 over Mater Dei

The wildcats were up 21-7 with roughly 1:35 left in the game.

I can’t remember ever seeing a comeback like that - 14 down with just over a minute to go?

Did Tyrese Haliburton suit up for the Tigers?

I can’t either, the closest one I could think of was Memorial/Central 2019 regular season game. But we lost that one on a FG in double OT.

Don’t know when the last 1 minute down by 14 comeback was (probably a nice trivia question, if it ever had happened). But the last -14 in the 2nd half comeback in recent memory was the 2021 East Central game.

Indeed a miralce.  But what does it say about Memorial....are they worse than we thought throughout that game...... or.....is Mater Dei just better than we thought?

The answer can't be some cheezy....."well you just never know what will happen in this rivalry".

I think it says we won after being down 14 with 80 seconds left.

I'm going to need more depth anaylsis than that.  One grass blade out of place and Memorial loses....what does it all mean?

I thought MD won the line of scrimmage, for the most part.  And that disrupted a lot of what Memorial wanted to do on offense.

I also heard they switched some players around on the O-Line too, but it also felt like the offense was out of sync. Besides a few plays, the defense did play pretty good.

MD is a good squad. Mallory is slippery and Thacker is a load. I don't see them losing another game in the SIAC and they will be a tough out in the tournament.
