I try to save up for one game a year. Last season it was Cincy at Green Bay. This year it will be Minnesota at Green Bay. Friends in Indy are season ticket holders for Green Bay. It’s always fun catching up with them. That said, it is a big investment.

I live in Boston. No kids yet. Ticket prices are absurd for Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics games. Red Sox tickets were affordable before they went on this dang hot streak!

It really comes down to this. Going to any games at the pro level is financially irresponsible. The best seat in the house is from your chair. Or go to a high school game for $7.00, pay zero in parking, there and back in 3 hours.

$7.90 at Frankfort, and I suspect most if not all high schools using a payment processing company like EventLink, instead of accepting cash.

I paid $7.90 as well via Event Link at Zionsville on Friday night. My wife sometimes works the gates. Oh man, she gets an earful from the old timers who pull up with only cash in the pocket.

As well she should.  A government entity like a public school corporation not accepting cash should be illegal, or at the very least un-American.

I don't mind Eventlink at all!  At my age it's quite easy to access and purchase tickets.  Ticketmaster is another animal though.  Way too many hoops to maneuver for this old fan!
