Possibly Covid. I read somewhere earlier today they cancelled another sporting event due to Covid outbreak.

Not much help for this year, but Tri-West is looking for a week 1 opponent for next year(2022) and beyond.

Yes per the Oldenburg twitter accont:

"The football game vs Rock Creek Academy scheduled for August 21st at 2:00 OM at Roger Bacon has been cancelled due to positive cases in Rock Creek's football program. The Twisters will not play Friday, August 27th at Union City with a 7:00 PM kick-off. Thank you for your understanding"

Thank you. They are on our schedule too. Hopefully things are good to go by then.

Yes we should be good as long as we don't get hit with the Covid bus again. 95% of our team was quarantined due to Covid positives so we weren't going to have enough practices to play game 1 against Oldenburg (team just got back today actually)

Good to hear. Always enjoy new teams and venues. Looking forward to traveling to RC next year if not during the tourny.

Sadly, it sounds like your team was hit with the contact tracing "bus".  That is major reason teams get "knocked out".
