Nate Cox for Nevada at 6’9”. 
Any chance a Fort Wayne historian remembers how tall Chris Ditto was? I was thinking 6’9”.

I thought of Dan McGwire, but he was "only" 6'8"

Brock Osweiler is 6'7"

Think I had Dan McGwire rookie card, from San Diego St with a dark visor which weren’t around back then. Haha memory lane 

I remember Jamarcus Russell being tall and I think ryan Mallott from Arkansas(?) was a big dude but not more than 6’6 if memory serves.

I think the OP meant just QB.  The announcers on the game stated tallest QB ever in college football (or something to that effect).

I thought that was what you meant.  Center Grove's Nate Wozniak, was listed as 6'10" during his playing days at TE for Minnesota. (Gophers)

Who was that super tall kid that played for a 1A school not too many years ago? 
 

I want to say north central or something…kid was like 6’8 and last name began with K.  But no idea if he played beyond HS
