  1. Past hour
  2. Sooooooo much drama and time wasted on legal proceedings and add the end of the day, Lane gets called on the carpet to be told not to add them. Timing is everything, right? So just 2 days before the rest of the conference meets to discuss expelling LSU, they lock in the roster and lock out the NFL players. My favorite comment….can we still kick them out? lol
  3. Week 4 Match-Ups Cloverdale (-11) at North Central Mitchell (+32) at Eastern Greene North Daviess (-53) at Pike Central Rensselaer Central (-17) at North Knox Bonus Game of the Week Owen Valley (+14) at Edgewood
  4. In another discussion, this thought came to me. Prior to the last play, the clock showed 8 seconds. The official announced the clock needed to be reset to 9 seconds. The spike play before that had 11 seconds. I thought I heard there is a 2 second run off. So the clock operator let another second run off. So when the official announced the reset to 9 seconds, wouldn’t that have reset the clock the B1G referred to back to 9 seconds as well? Maybe we should go back to before the snap to see if the B1G clock was slow to start at the snap? Because the TV/stadium clock started with it. Or are we being to.d that even with the 9 second reset, the clocks were not in sync?
  5. Our Jr. High team got to go to Castle South Middle School and play their 7th grade. I heard it was a pretty good game but North Daviess lost 8-14.

  7. Today
  8. The only Zionsville score was due to a Westfield defensive play. Up 14-0, Rocks defense forces a fumble. However the ball bounces to a Zionsville offensive player, who scoops and scores. That was it for Z'Ville in that game :)
  9. Alright...here goes nothing! Gimmie... Cloverdale Mitchell Pike Central RC Edgewood
  10. Yesterday
  11. I heard that there were a LOT of penalties on both teams.
  12. I thought the uniforms were OK, except I am not a fan of player names on the back of the jersey. At Notre Dame, by tradition, the names only go on in the post season.
  13. Pick'em Selections. BNL @ New Albany BNL should handle the Bulldogs with ease, although I thought the Stars would beat Jeff with ease, which turned out to be a lot closer game than what I expected. After beating a Providence team in the season opener with Providence now at 0-3, the Bulldogs have been outscored 96-0 in their last two games. 'nough said. Floyd Central @ Seymour The Owls are atrocious right now and this game will probably be over with by halftime, with the possibility of a running clock to start the second half. Jennings County @ Columbus East This game has the potential for a blowout. JC is 2-1, but their two wins came against a couple of 2A teams that are currently a combined 1-5 on the season. Their lone loss was to Madison in which they never were in the game, suffering a 42-6 loss. Kokomo @ Jeffersonville Okay, in my mind this is the only competitive game on the schedule this week and it looks to be a difficult choice to make as to who will come out on top. Kokomo is 0-3 right now with two of their losses to a couple of 5A teams by a combined margin of 16 points. Their other loss wasn't a close game. Jeffersonville has shown some pulse on offense and managed to put up 35 points on BNL. Kokomo has to make the almost 170 mile trip to Jeffersonville which could impact their performance, ergo, I'm going with the home team in this one.
  14. What I was reminded of from seeing the uniforms both ND and Wisconsin were wearing:
  15. AI says: Cathedral (2006) Cathedral (2008) Cathedral (2010) Cathedral (2011) Luers (2012) Concordia (2016) Dwenger (2018) Luers (2023)
  16. Updated lines: Boonville at Central (+42) Harrison at Castle (-32) Reitz (-42) at North Jasper (-46) at Bosse
  17. It looks like the two biggest Indiana high school football Wikipedia pages need some love. @Rudy has gotten them started, but they are in dire need of updates, including links to the actual teams or schools' pages: Indiana big school football champions Indiana high school football champions – smaller schools Indiana High School Athletic Association Indiana Football Hall of Fame Indiana High School Athletics Conferences Between the IHSAA's records, John Harrell's site, and Almanac Sports, most of the needed information is available.
  18. How they've done it for 120 years. Sagarin has gone rogue. Don't some high schools show tenths of a second for football? I swear Heritage Hills' scoreboard shows/used to show tenths.
  19. Maybe they should be playing in the Reitz Bowl this week, instead of the Tigers or the Wildcats.
  20. Beware the slippery slope.
  21. Easy now, my niece goes to Castle MS. Is Floyd Central better than every team in the SIAC?
  22. Why it seemingly has about half the attendance that it did in 2012? New business model limits attendance in favor of per capita revenue. I'm not even sure Holiday World is a member of the QB Club. Looks like a bunch of farmers and individuals contribute. Wish we had the Mid State Corridor... I'm talking to you Dubois County!
