  1. Past hour
  2. North Judson @ LaVille- Young hosses up front clear enough room for their athletes to make plays. Jays 35-7 Boone Grove @ South Central- The young teams best chance at a win for the year. SCUM 27-20 Taylor @ North Miami- NM learning but Taylor doesn't look to have much. Warriors 21-0 West Central @ Culver- WC rebounds after the week 1 rivalry loss. 34-14 Triton @ Bremen- Bremen wins 28-7 Winamac @ Frontier- Winamac starts off 2-0 for the first time since 2021. Warriors 30-20 North White @ Caston.- Comets are burnin hot. Looking for 2-0 for the first time since 2009. Comets 56-0 Pioneer @ Knox- Pioneer gets knox after a rough week of film and practice for the Redskins. Knox is big and can cause some problems but not many athletes. Panthers 21-12
  3. HH getting a lot of mileage out of running trick plays against little old South Spencer....shame shame. @tango has it pretty close I'd imagine. GS had 507 yards of offense Friday.
  4. Happy to help as well wherever you need it @hhpatriot04
  5. I'm sure Gibson will rise. I guess I'm kind of old school and put Ws ahead of Ls, especially early in the season. Some common opponents will help sort out HH-NP-GS. If HH's offense plays like they did against SS, they might lose to Apollo. ETA: Why do you hate Vincennes?
  6. IMO, if GS had beat Floyd, they would be #1. Losing by 1 score to a 5A school in Wk1 after replacing what they had to replace is pretty solid to me. I might have Castle at #2 if they hadn't been gifted the W by North. I personally don't put much stock at all into last year.
  7. Jeff Sagarin has 1A ratings I think it's 99% John Harrell (or his son now) who is providing the data and just pressing a button. I'm not sure Mr. Sagarin does much anymore besides hitting the coffee shops in Bloomington. I'm not even sure he teaches/lectures anymore at IU. ETA: Both are saints and should be treated as such. I hope the IHSAA writes both a fat check every year.
  8. Maybe all teams should hire me to design their helmets, please? Really though, can you show me the helmet they wore on Friday because I'll need to update it.
  9. Gibson Southern probably could be higher, but I think No. 2 is a bit high. Where would they be had they won? Not sure how you can have HH and Reitz tied, given the recent matchup. Maybe, I factor in previous seasons a bit too much early in the season, or I just hate them Titans?
  10. Update? I’d prefer that helmet for Floyd for sure.

  12. Today
  13. He slacking. I noticed lack of 1A too. If better read this and get it done. I demand it!!
  14. I don't think the towel should be tossed in on both Fishers and HSE yet. Both with Road games at Carroll and Carmel not the easiest of week 1 opponents. Fishers will have another tough week. Outside of Brownsburg and Westfield both teams could beat all other opponents in the conference. HSE has a better chance of beating North central than Fishers does Lawrence North. The Mudsock is a 50/50 to me right now.
  15. North Judson @ LaVille Boone Grove @ South Central Taylor @ North Miami West Central @ Culver Triton @ Bremen Winamac @ Frontier North White @ Caston Pioneer @ Knox
  16. Is it just me or are these normally updated before week 2? 1A isn't even on the list. John doesn't have his predictions on each game from the ratings like he normally does too.
  17. Mine would be: 1. Memorial (always enjoy the WITZ radio broadcast) 2. GS (Floyd Central is a quality Wk. 1 opponent) 3. Castle (got the benefit of what sounded like some questionable clock management at the end by North) 4. North (snatched defeat from the jaws of victory?) T5. Reitz (surprisingly, Harrison kept it close until after the half) T5. Heritage Hills (its South Spencer) T5. Mater Dei (its Central) 8. North Posey (nice W against SR) 9. Jasper (JCats need a "get-right" game and Harrison is the lamb) 10. Boonville (its Bosse) HM. Southridge
  18. Death, Taxes, and Evansville Memorial has a QB. That kid was throwing some very nice balls against Jasper on Friday night. The TD pass while rolling to his left in the 1st half was an elite throw. I have a feeling GIbson Southern should be higher than 6. Big one this weekend for Reitz as the younger Sorgi visits the Bowl.
  19. We can re-pin at the end of the season. Deal?
  20. @Coach Nowlin any objections to unpinning this?
