Hoosier Hills Conference
ptr replied to starbacker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Pick'em Selections. BNL @ New Albany BNL should handle the Bulldogs with ease, although I thought the Stars would beat Jeff with ease, which turned out to be a lot closer game than what I expected. After beating a Providence team in the season opener with Providence now at 0-3, the Bulldogs have been outscored 96-0 in their last two games. 'nough said. Floyd Central @ Seymour The Owls are atrocious right now and this game will probably be over with by halftime, with the possibility of a running clock to start the second half. Jennings County @ Columbus East This game has the potential for a blowout. JC is 2-1, but their two wins came against a couple of 2A teams that are currently a combined 1-5 on the season. Their lone loss was to Madison in which they never were in the game, suffering a 42-6 loss. Kokomo @ Jeffersonville Okay, in my mind this is the only competitive game on the schedule this week and it looks to be a difficult choice to make as to who will come out on top. Kokomo is 0-3 right now with two of their losses to a couple of 5A teams by a combined margin of 16 points. Their other loss wasn't a close game. Jeffersonville has shown some pulse on offense and managed to put up 35 points on BNL. Kokomo has to make the almost 170 mile trip to Jeffersonville which could impact their performance, ergo, I'm going with the home team in this one. - Today

What I was reminded of from seeing the uniforms both ND and Wisconsin were wearing:

Updated lines: Boonville at Central (+42) Harrison at Castle (-32) Reitz (-42) at North Jasper (-46) at Bosse

It looks like the two biggest Indiana high school football Wikipedia pages need some love. @Rudy has gotten them started, but they are in dire need of updates, including links to the actual teams or schools' pages: Indiana big school football champions Indiana high school football champions – smaller schools Indiana High School Athletic Association Indiana Football Hall of Fame Indiana High School Athletics Conferences Between the IHSAA's records, John Harrell's site, and Almanac Sports, most of the needed information is available.

How they've done it for 120 years. Sagarin has gone rogue. Don't some high schools show tenths of a second for football? I swear Heritage Hills' scoreboard shows/used to show tenths.

Maybe they should be playing in the Reitz Bowl this week, instead of the Tigers or the Wildcats.

Beware the slippery slope.

Easy now, my niece goes to Castle MS. Is Floyd Central better than every team in the SIAC?

Why it seemingly has about half the attendance that it did in 2012? New business model limits attendance in favor of per capita revenue. I'm not even sure Holiday World is a member of the QB Club. Looks like a bunch of farmers and individuals contribute. Wish we had the Mid State Corridor... I'm talking to you Dubois County!

Actually, as a local politican, Gibson County leadership squandered the Toyota opportunty. The vast majority of people travel in due to lack of housing. Look at Georgetown KY to see how it should have been done (both got their plant around the same time). Catestrophic failure in Gibson County....and they continue to make it worse.

MAC Leadership has issued a statement.

Jays no clue both struggling Warriors Young Panthers still finding their way, Comets might have their best team.

Missed opportunities by North and Harrison running 200+ yards against North’s defense. There is a lengthy recap on that NHS Football records website.

Negative, played thru 3rd q 44-0 half, running clock to start 3rd.

Is Castle good this year?

I don’t necessarily disagree but their recent run the last 4 years and Radtke’s resume gives them the benefit of the doubt to be placed in top tier until they prove they’re not - IMO

North Miami @ North Judson-Judson rolls. 42-7 Triton @ South Central- Triton sure seemed to fall off a cliff but still hang on this week. 28-21 Culver @ Winamac- Winamac bounces back after a butt kicking last week. 21-0 Pioneer @ Caston- Caston has a good team but Pioneer will come out with a solid reminder that they are the big dog like they did last week. 35-13
