Saw Fairfield run a split back offense. Run the ball. Control clock. Move the chains. Score. Really enjoyed it. Also a very big fan of @Coach Nowlin and the Bombers offense. -

I saw that Blitz on outsidethehuddle.net doesn't even have Homestead in the top 10 of his Area Power Poll. That is an egregious of a mistake as I've seen in any poll put out so far this season.

As far as 5A goes, Cathedral is off to a slow start this season and is 0-2 out of the gate. Interestingly, the Irish are playing an eight-game regular season schedule this season and five of their opponents are out-of-state teams. They will probably be a formidable foe come playoff time. New Pal was decimated by graduation losses this season and may struggle at times early in the season, but I wouldn't bet the farm they will continue to do so as the season wears on. South looks like they should be favorites for the rest of their schedule with the exception of their regular season ending game at Center Grove. South's game against Ironton (OH) H.S. is a real puzzle mark. They are a small school football power of between 400 and 500 students and are located in coal country. They are currently on probation over recruiting violations and were kicked out of last season's postseason playoffs over the violations. They play an independent schedule and play schools like Big Walnut this season. Ironton is a town of between 10,000 and 11,000, yet their high school team averages 10,000 in attendance to their games, so the whole town pretty much shows up for their games. South will make the almost 300-mile trip there on the same day (Saturday) as the game, and will play the game mid-afternoon, so who knows how sharp they will be going into the game. Like last season, it looks like it could possibly be another matchup of South and Floyd Central for this season's regional title. -

Which I was surprised several posters had Noblesville in a blowout. No love for Homestead up here in NE Indiana. Even the media up here have little faith.
-
Homestead beat Noblesville last season, plus Noblesville lost every conference game by at least 21 points last season.

To put it bluntly... totally BS! At some point an 's' show will occur, and it will NOT be on the officials, but in the mechanics prescribed....which we ALL disagree with.

Yeah which is crazy because Snider has a historically strong program and they have a really good coach with a track record of success there. -

Is that the downside to being in a city with multiple programs? Many opportunities to transfer around? -

Any teams change it up this year? -
Can they update what they have or swac will vote to tear down n rebuild?
-
Original schools in the Range Line Conference along with Avon Calling, Sharpsville Prairie, Sheridan and Hamilton Heights.
-
Overall, a very nice campus with great sports facilities. Football stadium is aging though, but still a good venue. Homestead does sports as well as anyone in the state. Good balance across the board.
-
I remember when HSE was in 1A. West Fields as well.
-
When they expanded that campus..it was more of a "if we build it they will come sentiment". Before Carroll did what they did some might say sparty had the best campus/stadium in the area?
-
Homestead's stadium is crazy? Normal 6A stadium in my opinion. Elaborate on that one if you would.
