I'll help organize a TGD Poll this season, if someone else commits to helping and we get 8-10 voters per class. Alternatively, we could do a 1-3A poll and a 4A-6A poll to keep things manageable. If you are committed to voting every week, sound off. We need fans, coaches, media, officials, former players, etc... from around the state. Voting is anonymous (only the other pollsters see the way you vote). It's previously been done in a Google Sheet and that's probably how it would be done this year. No preseason poll obviously, we would start next week with all votes in by Sunday or Monday night. Who is interested?

My cousins went to Chatard. Grandfather went to Cathedral. I'm not Catholic, but if we would've stayed in Carmel (moved to Santa Claus when I was four), I might have gone to Cathedral or Chatard. Dad went to Emmerich Manuel, Mom went to North Central (with Babyface).

My mother graduated from Bishop Silas Chatard HS, she would insist you call the girl’s teams the Belles (shout out to St. Mary’s College) or Donnas.

No Stripes Flat Black

Well I was planning on going to the East at Mooresville game with a buddy tonight but he had to back out because he and his family are moving tomorrow. I’m unable to drive right now due to an injury so I’m going to have to wait until next week to attend my first game of the 2026 season. Looks like I’ll be listening on the radio and following along on social media for scores of the other games.

Linton 20 v RP 27 Earlier in the week I was confident in a 7-10 point Miner victory. Now I think it's likely still a 1-2 score game, but with RP on the winning side. Linton will likely be without their two most dynamic skill kids. One a returning a starter on both sides, and the other a very promising freshman athlete, also expected to be a two-way starter. Both played in the jamboree, although one was used in a lesser role than we'd normally see. Disheartening for this young Miner squad to say the least. I'll never count Linton out, but it'll be an uphill battle vs a very talented, well coached, and experienced group from RP looking to make a name for themselves. For two decades Linton has had a conditioning advantage in early season games (minus possibly games vs Souhridge and the outfit from Ohio we played to open the 24 season), so I believe they still have a chance, but have to survive the first 3 quarters. Keys will be matching the physicality of RP on the LOS, getting multiple hats to the ball, and winning 3rd/4th down. Good luck to all & lets hope everyone stays healthy!

No stripes down the crown of the helmet? Flat black helmet or glossy? I need to fix the Charlestown decal. Not sure which one they use? I think the black, blue, white, and gray (the first one) looks better!

Union Dugger is in the article. They’re playing 8-man. No clue about Wood Memorial. It’s been awhile since I remember them having a team.
