Disappointing to see Notre Dame is now a paid shill for a bank.

That TD throw to Kmet was absolutely sick! Who does that?

I could use a refresher... so if for instance I think Crawford County covers the spread, I pick them, even though I don't think they'll win?

Yep. Credit to him for continuing to fight and find a way. In fairness to him, he also had a nice TD pass dropped. But he did have some really bad throws. Same for Sayin. He'll likely be a 4 year QB. He disappeared in the 2nd half with some really bad throws.

Yeah, I didn't like either of those decisions. Could have went up 13-0 with a makeable FG. Sometimes you just have to take the points. Going up 13-0 early in the game was the perfect time. I completely understand not wanting to just give up points and it's easy to say in hindsight, but it was probably best for Ohio State to just let Texas score at the end on 1st down. OSU would have had the ball back with over 1 minute to go. There appeared to be 0% chance they were keeping Texas out of the end zone on 4 downs from the goal line with the way Texas' O was controlling the 4th quarter.

Legal. Here’s the language of the rule: “2. The ball remains live if, at the snap, a place-kick holder with his knee(s) on the ground and with a teammate in kicking position rises and catches or recovers an errant snap and immediately returns his knee(s) to the ground and places the ball for a kick or again rises to advance, hand, kick or pass. NOTE: The ball becomes dead if the place-kick holder muffs the snap or fumbles and recovers after his knees have been off the ground, and he then touches the ground with other than hand or foot while in possession of the ball.”

What is the result of the following scenario? Extra point attempt. The place holder comes up off his knee to catch a high snap. He then goes back down on his knee to place the ball and the kick is good.

You're just picking the team that you think will cover the spread.
-
and so, are we picking just winners, or winners including the spread?

Southwestern Indiana Top 10 - Week 3 - 2026

Based on what? -
That was an awful choke job by the Buckeyes! I guess they thought like me that the game was over after 3 quarters!! It ain't over 'til it's over! Arch look real pedestrian for three quarters and then looked like a Manning in the 4th!
-
Just more examples of Ryan Day's hubris.
-
And two other times they go for it on 4th and miss when the odds say kick the FG.
-
23-3. Unreal chokejob by Ohio State. Game should have been over when Texas needed that miracle 4th down pass by Arch where he threw across his body. Game should have been over with Ohio State going up 9 instead of the kicker completely pissing down his leg on that last FG attempt.
-
Just pointing out all the close losses (that could all be wins). If they were 4-0 they would be in first in the conference. If all we are looking at is SOS, HH has 229 rated and GS has 176 rated. So what does this mean?

Some of these spreads are nuts....NUTS

I may have been a bit premature! The 'Horns has scored twice to narrow the deficit to just 6 points with plenty of time left, 7:14!
-
The Irish were 44 point favorites today against Rice. They covered that and gave a lot of backups some playing time in the process. It was a 52-0 win. I'd like to see Rice play Howard.
-
IMO, if Arch Manning's last name was Johnson, Smith, Brown or Jones, he wouldn't get much pub. He's serviceable but not top echelon. tOSU is showing the 'Horns how to play the game tonight. There's still a fourth quarter to be played but it doesn't look good for the home team.
