Well, sounds fairly positive at this point that it's only a grade 1 tear. Hope so. Just a completely fubar day. Hurrendous weather, crappy OL play, questionable play calling by Ben. WTF. Is he calling for Roush to get targeted just as much as Loveland? Where is Rome? Did. Flores get to Ben psychologically? Just a bad game. Not sure what to expect from Bagent. Very high IQ player. Coaches love him. Kid is determined to be an every day starter some day. Just not sure he has the arm needed. We need Ozzy back ASAP at LT. What a mess that position was today. Might be seeing the Iowa kid soon at C as well.

How about how rich do you have to be to afford PSL's for new stadiums? The prices being thrown out for the new Bears stadium are insane. I went to Cubs vs. Pirates at Wrigley last weekend. Between parking, tickets, beers, brats, dogs, popcorn, ice cream (that I dumped out. Daughter just wanted the mini hat), it was well past $600.

He went down as soon as he was injured. His right leg was put in an aircast. Here's hoping for a quick recovery for all of them.

This one did not look bad when it was live, but the one view shows how hard the hit was to him. In slow motion, you can see it in his face that something hurt. Reports are that he does have feeling in his arms and legs.

In Girls Flag Football, page 17 says "A player may hand the ball off forward". Is this different than NFHS which says it has to be behind the neutral zone?

It seems there have been more serious injuries early this season than what I can recall from years past. I know some will blame the turf, and there may be something to that on this level, but Caleb Williams' injury was on grass. I am thinking there is a correlation between the lack of reps in the preseason for so many starters. Granted, some injuries are unavoidable. Not sure this would j=keep him out long??? But damn, it hurts to see it. The pop look on the right knee looks similar to the pop you would see with a ruptured Achilles.

I think MD and Castle get their second losses this week. Central could give Jasper some problems. Overall I don't expect any game to be closer than 14 points. SIAC really needs to go to two divisions.

A good friend of mine, an IU grad of course, tried to tell me that IU is better than Notre Dame at this point. I tried to tell him it's too early to tell, but I did tell him that the Irish has beaten two BIG teams and IU is yet to do so. I hope they meet again in the Playoffs, and it's a shame that their home and home has been cancelled.

It seems this LSU coach has some trouble winning the big game too.
