Hat's off to the New Pal crew for scrambling to get the feed straightened out in the 1st quarter and putting out a great product. 1st time listening to that crew. Well done. Great coverage. Halftime interview with Coach Ralph was good as well. Loved his honesty that Saint Francis caught them off guard with the D they were running and they were going to adjust to it at the half.

More so that they are now the biggest HS in the Region and have the financial resources to be good at sports, all across the board. They fit in more with the Hoosier Crossroads than the Duneland at this point. Buz came in and built the football program that a school with their size and money should have.

Brownstown losing in the regional or semi state isn’t a quick exit 😅😅 "I don't see a repeat to LOS" -- what a limb you're willing to go out on. All of this about two comments that stated-- "a team that should improve every week" and another "I thought Brownstown looked good all things considered"... someone here got worked up.

Not trying to knock EN in any way, but if 8 D1 players is true, your three away from having a college team. You shouldn't lose let alone get shutout. I'm sure some coaches would love to have 1 D1 athlete on their team. 8?! It def is easy to blame coaching.

It's not like half of East Noble's starters are college football players too or anything. EN had the best player on the field according to recruit rankings too. Easy to blame on bad coaching. This is a half decade of almost putting a team together. However, losing by three scores to EN week 1 is something that would happen to a lot of good teams.

I'm guessing John Harrell has the NH Salem score wrong? On his site it was NH won that game 35-6?

You guys are winning that sectional. But the best team on the list you just named is probably Salem. I’m obviously a Floyd Central fan but also a Salem supporter and their football team looks very solid. Big offensive line. Really well fundamentally executing team. I don’t think NH is very good this season. But Salem looked solid tonight.

I'd vote for 1A-3A.

My only knock on this (and it’s a slight one) is that Columbus East’s face masks are brown. I can’t say it with 100% positivity but I believe the outline of the O is also brown. From a distance, they both definitely look black. However, the facemask is 100% brown and I haven’t been close enough to confirm if the outline of the O is too.

Reitz had an explosive 2nd half, was up only 7-0 against Harrison at the half to end up winning 46-0.

Why they continue to put playmakers at qb is beyond me..they didn't learn from Tae? Put the jv or freshman QB at the start of the game and put your playmakers in open space..that coach is terrible..jaylon will take over soon..best player is returning kicks? Qb, safety, punter, kick/punt returner..is this 1A football? East Noble #1 recruit did not get the bulk of carries until the 4th quarter..y does Northside coach still have a job?? not to mention the Luers transfer..why not have him return kicks??

Here's the sectional-- Providence, Mitchell, Pekin, Salem, Brown Co, Switz Co, Clarksville.. Replacing 17 starters from our best team ever? And 4 rotational guys out right now from injury, rotating in 5 SOs, week 1 on the road, vs a senior laden Corydon team.. being up 35-0 with 16 mins to go in the game... yes, all things considered. It wasn't an onside kick to start the half.. its a squib kick.. Conyer is just really good at that. Did it in the semi state last year, too.

I expect Valley to drop SEVERAL games this season. They did not get any better losing the seniors from last season and I think the schedule is a bit more formidable. 5 losses is my guess… and before any says too much. I was tough on em last season too and the post season proved me correct. A team with a pulse they struggle. Easy to look good vs really bad teams.

It could have been 14-7 at half.. 14-0 probably if not for that late fumble by Corydon. This is not last years BC team. Be ready for a quick exit from the tournament this year. Not impressed by the Braves tonight. The onside kick by Reed should have been seen coming after half. I am leaning towards taking Daniels over Reed next week. 🤷🏻‍♂️ All things considered?
