I too stayed up for that one with work the next morning. That was history I could not miss. So excited with the outcome I could hardly fall asleep after the game. I would do that again in a heartbeat! Well worth the lack of sleep that night!!!
Good point. This Penn State team feels a little different though. Not "champion" different, but "better than Boise State" different.
I wouldn't consider ND over Georgia an upset. And certainly not OSU over Oregon. So there's really only two choices to your original question. Boise State or Arizona State. The consensus seems to be more trust in Texas than in Penn State. I can roll with that. Boise State it is.
That's ok, but I don't know what Navy beating half of Oklahoma's roster by 1 in a bowl game is supposed to tell us about a hypothetical game between Alabama and IU.
Just heard of this…..
Reggie Wayne absolutely a class act.
Pulls woman from car after it spins out in front of him and lands on its side.

Minnesota sports fans have suffered for a long damn time. You could say that about Buffalo and Detroit also.
Would be neat to see one of those three pull it off.
That's true. Clemson's backup only threw for almost 500 yard vs the Irish in SB a few years ago. And OSU's backup came in and obliterated the field, what, ten years ago? So you never know. I guess I'm just optimistic. I really want to see a statue erected in honor of Freeman. Kelly deserves it.
I'll be watching it live. I couldn't sleep knowing that game is going on! I stayed awake for the 2016 Cubs World Series win, and I had to be up at 5AM for my part time job. I slept good after work though.
