Sadly our bus isn't doing anything this weekend. -
Be careful what you wish for. Speaking for a friend.

Southridge does not have an end zone camera. We bought a used one a few years ago, it didn't make it past two games.

Personal Best 2020 Football Season Memory

Beating Gibson Southern "When it mattered." Undefeated regular season for first time in school history. Silencing Stink Town Clown for an entire day and a half. -
OMG! It is JUST LIKE LAST WEEK. Heritage Hills guys get on here and call out our opponent. As far as our camp is concerned, Danville has strong players on both sides of the ball and great coaching. They have a great program and have been through the 3-A wars. Our heads are spinning. We should be playing WeBo anyway. STUPID success point rule.

Southridge at Lawrenceburg 3A Regional

Certainly glad you recognize the predictions are not from our troupe. We know what we are up against. The stupid success factor rule has caused this. The only thing we can predict is that we will play hard. -
I usually try not to "fall into the trap", but I have some time. We started our Mater Dei experience in 1983 as part of the Cluster system. They cursed us, spat on us, berated us and beat the crap out of us for many years. After 8 straight losses over 19 years, we finally turned the tables, winning six of the next ten. Yes, they have a bigger roster. And no they don't have kids who would rather play video games than excel at school and extracurriculars. Their parents don't pay tuition for them to be slugs. While the public school enrollment is increased with a diversity of kids who will never play anything. (If we could only ship them to Sullivan or Jasper!) Granted, over the years Mater Dei has lost some kids to the glitz and glamor of other schools. But the tradition which is Mater Dei will never die. So if you want to beat them stop worrying about the number on the sideline and focus on the 11 guys on the field. And by that I mean YOUR 11. Stop the run, change coverages, disguise coverages and "Run the damn ball!"

Please explain when this happened. There is no agreement that I'm aware of, at least in the last 43 years.

Allen is killing Indiana small college football

Has anyone actually asked a walk on? The son of my friend is a walk on for IU baseball. He loves it. The perks are awesome. He is fighting like heck to make the 35 man roster. His only conflict when deciding about school was: walk on baseball or walk on football at IU. There are many financial aid opportunities for those qualified. BTW, Marian just signed two great high school players from Evansville Memorial. -
Yep, 1982 semi-state at Hagerstown, go ahead touchdown run was simply a dive play meant to avoid the huge puddle that hadn't frozen yet. Then we lost 14-7 to Oak Hill in the state championship game. Game played in a muddy downpour, fumbled 7 times. 2002 Sectional championship and Regional both at our very own mud pit. Just couldn't escape the rain that year. Field was almost completely beige from all the diamond dry. At least the Dome was dry and warm that year. 2006 Semi-state at North Putnam was "Enlow" cold and muddy. Dome was nice and dry. 2007 Semi-state at our place was a beautiful afternoon, sun was in coaches eyes all day. We have switched sidelines. Didn't make it to Dome. 2017 OMG! Arsenal Tech field was under a foot of water. Some drain was not working. we had that and the stupid lightening delay. Lucas Oil was REALLY NICE! 2018 Semi-state at Western Boone. First of all you can't get there from here. Secondly nice day but again slippery surface provided little traction and down we went. Just my opinion, but Semi-states should be played at neutral field. WITH TURF!
