The “stunner” label has nothing to do with the Coach. It’s just that in the 57 seasons of Munster football, they’ve only had 3 coaches … and all have had close ties to Munster. John Friend lived in Munster and kids from Munster went to Hammond High, where he was Bernie Kreuger’s assistant, before Munster opened. Leroy Marsh was Coach Friend’s assistant for many years. Jason Grunewald was a player at Munster and was Marsh’s OC for many years. To my knowledge, Coach St. Louis has no ties to the program. That Munster went outside its own little world is the stunning part of this hire.

Oddly enough Seymour WBK has only had three HC’s in its 53 year history, none of which had ties to the program, though. Like Munster it’s somewhat rare to have such longevity in coaching positions.

Perhaps he was on a “hunting trip”, I seem to recall one of his predecessors that had a penchant for that sort of thing when he was a little camera shy.

SF just can't let this one go.......The headline was just too enticing......A guy/girl is ticked off because his/her girl/boy friend won't giver her nuts back to her/him.....

“I can put a dollar amount on, say, if you were missing work at $16 an hour,” he said. “But as to testicles, I can’t really put a number on it.”

She told him her surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in March 2022 cost $20,000, but noted that the state covered the charge because she’s disabled, according to the outlet.

“The state paid for that, you didn’t. You’re not going to be unjustly enriched,” the judge told her.

Transgender woman loses bid to sue ex for throwing out her surgically removed testicles: ‘We’re talking about my nuts’

A transgender Michigan woman who sued her ex-boyfriend for discarding her surgically removed testicles had her case tossed out by a judge — who also rejected the ex’s counterclaim for being “humiliated” by the case.

Brianna Kingsley, 40, last year filed a small claims petition alleging her ex, William Wojciechowski, 37, “retains possession of my surgically extracted testicles, preserved in (a) Mason jar, kept in (the) fridge next to the eggs.”

The Pontiac resident demanded the immediate return of her “human remains specimen” in her handwritten affidavit, in addition to $6,500 in damages.

“We’re talking about my nuts. … I wanted them in my fridge — not his,” Kingsley told a court hearing. “The damages were the loss of these nuts.”

Wojciechowski, meanwhile, said he’d already tossed out the testicles — and filed a counterclaim for the same amount, claiming he’d been “humiliated” by coverage of the nutty case by “worldwide news outlets,” the Detroit News reported.

The judge noted how hard it was to calculate potential damages in the bizarre case.

“I can put a dollar amount on, say, if you were missing work at $16 an hour,” he said. “But as to testicles, I can’t really put a number on it.”

The judge said Kingsley had the chance to retrieve her testicles when an Oakland County sheriff’s deputy accompanied her to her former beau’s home in January 2023.

At the time, Kingsley had just gotten out of jail, where she spent three days and was fined $100 for violating a personal protection order he had filed against her, the Detroit News reported.

“We allow a one-time visit with a sheriff’s officer in situations like that for people to go back to get their belongings,” Bowie said.

“Ms. Kingsley failed to retrieve the testicles from the refrigerator at that time. … If they were so important to her, she had the opportunity to grab them, and she didn’t,” he said during the hearing.

Wojciechowski told the judge he tossed out the testicles in July.

“They were rotting in my fridge, and it was disgusting — I’ve got food in there I wanted to eat,” he said. “She didn’t keep them in a biohazard container like she was supposed to.”

She told him her surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in March 2022 cost $20,000, but noted that the state covered the charge because she’s disabled, according to the outlet.

“The state paid for that, you didn’t. You’re not going to be unjustly enriched,” the judge told her.

It’s not a playoff. It’s a tournament. The IHSAA stresses that distinction.

But they also stress that it’s for the kids and then charge $10 for a regional game so….

A pet peeve of mine, people complaining about the cost of admission for HS sports. Even at 10 bucks for a regional game, I could drive within an hour of my compound in northern Jackson County and for the grand sum of 10 bucks I can be entertained for a couple of hours by a quality athletic event. Think big picture, you’re a wrestling, swimming, tennis, golf, baseball, …….. fan, the same applies. What’s it going to cost you to go to an IU game? Colts, Pacers, Indians, …….? And your admission is going back to the student athletes. Yes I understand at the regional level and beyond the money goes to the IHSAA, c’mon man.

  6. We recently had our (Softball) winter clinic and HOF inductions along with Baseball in Indy. This was a hot topic in several discussions…….you’ll forgive me if I take a wait and see attitude……

As @Coach_K pointed out it’s a long process just to get to the point of making the proposal to the committee. And I know this will come as a shock to some of you, but politics and egos come into play as well. And when it comes to a dick measuring contest, the dude who makes the rules usually wins. Z

But did he do anything wrong?  SF doesn't think so.  The students approached the State Senator in the Statehouse (not at their school) and brought it up, even asking him if he carries.

At what point in any of the training you’ve had did they talk about when a good time to be flashing your weapon would be?  A simple yes would have sufficed. Look I went to school with Jim, I know him well, and personally I like him, did he intend any ill will towards the students, no. Was it another in an endless line of bad decisions, yes.

Only one I can ever recall visiting is the one in Rensselaer. I think @Coach Nowlin will back me up when I say it’s not fine dining.

It’s an interesting and as I stated it’s either the best pizza or the worst you ever ate. I got one in Knightstown one time and could get two pieces choked down. Rumor has it it’s dependent upon which brother’s line your franchise came from. Plainfield still had the train in there last time I was in there. I ate at another one that had a train as well, but I can’t remember where.
Some have been around long enough to remember the GID Publicity Tour back in 05, the Seymour stop was at Pizza Palace, which at that time was no longer using Pizza King products, but makes a similar style pie. TA was there, Paul Condry, they were selling copies of the GID.

  10. Pizza King is truly a Hoosier iconic brand. One must be careful which Pizza King you frequent. It will either be the best pizza you ever ate, or the worst. Depends on which commissary they use. Cagney’s in Shelbyville may be the best Pizza King in the state.

And while we're on the topic... I know soccer people don't like the turf for soccer, I don't have a lot of opinion there....

For baseball/softball it's tremendous. Keeping the batters boxes level probably being the biggest.

Soccer tends to have the same issues as bat and ball sports, how the ball “scoots” off the turf. I think the infill is slightly different than football to slow it down.

I won’t give anything away, but his existence on the show takes an unexpected turn.
I highly recommend finishing it. One of the best series endings ever. I think there is as much understood as what is said.

More wasted taxpayer dollars.  And increased serious injury opportunities for the children playing on such a surface (this is well documented, I will not get into another discussion concerning this proven point again.)

All so somebody doesn't have to mow the grass, paint some lines, and sometimes wash muddy uniforms.

I believe every public school board in the state must face voters every four years, so……I’m guessing they don’t really give a shit what you think Muda.

But that should improve the quality of the soccer program. Jasper's boys program has gotten much more competitive in recent years for that reason.

Oddly enough it hasn’t really. Girls roster is dominated by Hispanics, boys not so much. I think our pipeline of German exchange students has helped the boys’ cause though.

I can see that. Scottsburg and Pekin both have newer hybrid fields I believe. They seem to be good shape.

I would bet North will jump on shortly after Corydon's goes in.

Thanks for the Tag @HoopsCoach sorry not on much when school El ED PE is up and running, but with e learning today I popped in

@jets  yes as @Punttheball mentioned along with Hoops Coach:   That is the combo, ST. JOE has been a slow decline since closing, however count day 2022, we had a tremendous influx of transient families, families came into town, working fields and etc, and there was like 30 some HS age kids, Sept our count was 528, by Xmas we were under 500 and they all disappeared.   They had migrant busses parked an interstate hotel that was occupied for months, had Taco Truck (VERY GOOD MIND YOU) parked on site for them, first time I had ever seen this.   Hasn't happened since.   But yes, that Is what pushed us up to 3a for 2 years where we played in that class with less than 470 kids in the last 2 years.

    So it goes

I feel your pain, Seymour has always been a very static enrollment, between 1100-1200 at the HS. Given our current “migration” situation locally, leadership is expecting us 6A by the next count. Unfortunately Hispanics are not big Football participants. Last figures I heard were nearing 40% of the enrollment K-12.

I wasn't aware Corydon was getting it. That's great news as well.

That leaves Pekin, North Harrison, and Scottsburg.

Per some conversations with people in the know, I don’t see Scottsburg replacing their surface anytime in the foreseeable future.
