  1. That’s unfortunate, I hope they stick around.
  2. Seemed like they averaged about 15-16 players per JV game and have cancelled Monday due to lack of numbers. Are they playing V?
  3. Is Salem losing enrollment?
  4. Trinity has never played 8-Man. This is their third attempt at 11-man and frankly they should have gone the 8-man route. 20 person roster sharing athletes with in some cases two other sports. If I recall correctly they combined with Southside Homeschool, the Crimson Knights, got their coach and started the second iteration.
  5. It was talked about on the radio this afternoon that charges could be amended prior to his initial court appearance. Since he posted $300 bond from his hospital bed, he has not been before a judge.
  6. I live in Seymour, I do all of Brownstown’s MS games. I also do all of Seymour MS’s home games. Last night I had Brownstown at Seymour, what do you make of that, and more importantly who got screwed?
  7. Ehhh, nothing I enjoy more than making awkward situations even more awkward.
  8. Not sure there’s any thought process in the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office?
  9. It all goes back to what my old man used to say: ”if you ain’t got in her pants by midnight, it’s not going to happen, best get your ass home.”
  10. Trinity JV lost their game tomorrow, not sure if that’s even an option, possibly your Frosh team. For next week FC will be looking for something.
  11. 44-7 Final at JenCo. Good to see the Owls get off the snide, next week is certainly winnable as well.
  12. My old shop teacher used to say: ”Now boys, when you start getting serious about a girl, take a good hard look at mom. Cause in about 30 years that’s what you’re going to have. Always remember that boys.” I’m not going to lie, a rare Friday night at home for me….. I could get used to this. I am listening to the Owls/Panthers on the radio.
  13. Dude just having a little fun, lighten up.
  14. Per my pick, I’m confident FC can overcome all the obstacles that have been placed in front of them……but the Dazzler loss will no doubt cast a long dark shadow over the halftime show.
  15. Agree Snider is probably the class of the field, again in regards to my earlier post about 5A, Snider should win 5A every year and they seldom even challenge.
  16. Plus there’s the CE/CN never being in the same conference thing, if that’s still a thing. Get rid of Jeff and NA I’d be down.
  17. I’d say you answered your own question, the “list” would be a moving target which changes from week to week.
  18. Numbers are dropping for a myriad of reasons, not the least of which is Football is hard. Also 2025 marks the 20th Anniversary of the big CTE study and subsequent 60 Minutes piece….. Club is probably starting to influence things more than most of us know, I think we’re living in dangerous times as it relates to education based Football.
  19. It is my understanding that both Parkview and River Valley in Jeff and Scribner and Hazelwood in N.A. are only fielding one team. Doesn’t sound good. Throw in the mix th number of V games being cancelled.
  20. Seymour had planned on a frosh team and apparently had enough upperclassmen opt out at the end of summer. Not sure what the circumstances were. Seymour’s JV is essentially a frosh team and beat a “C” team from FC. I think if Seymour can keep these kids they currently have getting their asses kicked every Friday around for a couple more years, with what’s coming along, I think they’ll be alright. 8th grade class is undefeated tri-co champs, 7th grade has gotten better as the year has progressed. Purely outsider looking in, just what I see on the field. Also, BNL OL may be the BEST JV OL I’ve ever seen.
  21. Clarksville always lost a few kids to other local schools. Clarksville has gone thru some really tough times in terms of administrations not being committed to athletics. Coach Cooley shared some stories with me when he was there and all I can say is wow. Clarksville has experienced growth, but of the retail kind, I see most of the area Jeff/Clarksville and to a lesser extent N.A., as part of the metro area. People are fleeing urban centers for the suburbs. Now all that being said, young energetic AD, I LOVE what Levi is doing there, brings back an iconic name to the city……we’ll see.
