Seymour had planned on a frosh team and apparently had enough upperclassmen opt out at the end of summer. Not sure what the circumstances were. Seymour’s JV is essentially a frosh team and beat a “C” team from FC. I think if Seymour can keep these kids they currently have getting their asses kicked every Friday around for a couple more years, with what’s coming along, I think they’ll be alright. 8th grade class is undefeated tri-co champs, 7th grade has gotten better as the year has progressed. Purely outsider looking in, just what I see on the field. Also, BNL OL may be the BEST JV OL I’ve ever seen.

Clarksville always lost a few kids to other local schools. Clarksville has gone thru some really tough times in terms of administrations not being committed to athletics. Coach Cooley shared some stories with me when he was there and all I can say is wow. Clarksville has experienced growth, but of the retail kind, I see most of the area Jeff/Clarksville and to a lesser extent N.A., as part of the metro area. People are fleeing urban centers for the suburbs. Now all that being said, young energetic AD, I LOVE what Levi is doing there, brings back an iconic name to the city……we’ll see.

Largely a 5A conference, 5A football in this state is the worst class in my opinion. 6A and 1A should be 32 schools and divy the rest of them up.

Madison won the JV game, no clue the score, the Red Peperoni was fire as usual!

Most unfortunate. Edinburgh cancelled their homecoming wiith Milan last night as well. Due to a water main break on campus. Small struggling (in Edinburgh’s case) to even field a team, taking a hit like losing a home game can hurt big time.

Seymour is down 24-7 end of three. Best I’ve seen them play all year, they just have a lot of guys playing V who aren’t really ready.

Thank god mechanics have evolved as well.

Well I accidentally hit accept on EL, looks like I’m headed to Madison Saturday morning as well. I told the bus driver not to wait on me. I’m sure there’ll be a trip to the Red Pepperoni after and I’ll probably enjoy a cigar on the way home.

I began V in 85 and we were working 5-man. There were still a lot of schools only paying four. There were a lot of nights I wasn’t getting paid.

I don’t remember 3-man in V Football. I’m pretty sure all tournament games prior to 87 were 4-man crews.

I’m quite certain all that’s true, but I can ABSOLUTELY determine where my hard earned cash is spent. HS sports are far more important in the long run.

I told you where to find the info. All I said was I would look into the FAA and liability issues. I don’t have the answers. I understand how drones are used, I understand generally there aren’t general admission people in the EZ. Use the info i offered or not, I’m not looking to debate.

Public facility? I really encourage you or have your IT person check with the FAA. What about insurance? Are there any liabilities? If it were me I would cover my bases.

You sure about that? It is my understanding flying over people requires a 107 license. Yes there are weight limits as well as flying for pay. If I were a drone operator I would definitely get the correct info from the FAA.
