My brother tore his ACL right at the start of his senior season…..life’s full of little disappointments, I’d expect my offspring to handle the situation with some class and dignity, isn’t that part of what we’re trying to teach with education based sports? The rest of it Bob handled beautifully. As Bob points out, some of the people whining I would LOVE to see them put in this situation. I have long felt adding a fourth school and getting more kids to WV would put TH schools in a position where there could play in some of the local smaller school conferences.

SC has been pretty mediocre since their team that drew EC week one. I know at the time SC had ZERO interest in leaving the MSC. That came from admin. They have however won state titles in other sports, but so has Brownstown. But given recent upheaval in the athletic department, who knows?

I work closely with our local youth league, the crap you deal with…… you are a youth league coach, run the O you’re told to run, run the D you’re told to run, you’re job is to teach what the HC wants taught. We’re not going to build a statue if you go undefeated in 5/6 football. How many kids show up next year and what do the know, that’s how you’ll be judged as a youth league coach.

Congrats to Coach Vogel and his staff. They’ve caught a lot of grief since taking over at East, undeserving in my opinion. This one HAD the feel good.

I watched quite a bit on YT, Seymour just got their ass whipped up front.

Betting on the come means what will come. How many times have you made plans because there’s no chance of rain…..the damn. How many times to we see schools cancel school based on forecast that turn to be a bunch of nothing. I think the term comes from hanging on to a shitty hand in poker thinking you’ll get what you need on the turn.

In my 59 trips around the sun I’ve learned one thing, NEVER bet on the come, when it involves Indiana weather.
