Hoosier Hills Conference
Impartial_Observer replied to starbacker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Anyone’s guess but between 15K-20K in immigrants. Again anyone’s guess 50%-70% illegals. Three- four-five families living in one house/apartment. So no tax base to pay for their social infrastructure, including schooling. Seymour is nearing 45% Hispanic enrollment. And of those, I have been told less than 30% speak or read English. It’s not a problem unique to Seymour, but it has put an increasing strain on our social infrastructure. My guess is Seymour is 6A in Football within the next two counts. Unfortunately Hispanics don’t really gravitate towards Football, so we’re competing at the 6A level with a mid-4A enrollment. One caveat, things have clearly changed in the last two weeks. I was speaking to a local business owner today and he told me there’s clearly something going on, we aren’t seeing Hispanics in here in the last couple of weeks. -

I tossed a parent at a SB game last year at Jeff, same crap. And Jeff being Jeff had no administrator on site and the guy I tossed was waiting in the parking lot. Jeff athletics is just bush league. Always has been. -

Sad, I’ve worked with Jaylon the last couple of years, you won’t find a finer young man. Whoever the adult is, you’re an embarrassment. -
Mrs IO has given up, may be time to just burn it down.

These are the kinds of people Woodson is recruiting, punks:

I will just say this as a college athlete parent, keeping in mind my daughter played Softball and we always knew there was no million dollar contract at the end of this rainbow. I have to think for the masses that’s still the case, 90% of the college athletes have to know the same thing. I did my homework on coaches we talked to during the recruiting process, I wanted the same values we as parents were trying to teach. And obviously the education. Somehow all that stuff gets lost in all this. I realize I’m from another time, but there’s nothing wrong with having some values.

He has a history of leaving Charlestown.

This is what I was referring to as “Purdue people”. My daughter's coach often referred to “Marian people”, those were kids who got it done in the classroom, good teammates, kids that had a work ethic, kids that were competitors, kids that had game savvy. I have mad respect for what Painter has accomplished at Purdue, and if you remember his playing days, there was little doubt he was going to be a successful coach. Bloomington has bought into the AAU bro culture, does anyone that’s watched this garbage think any of those people give a shit about their teammates or University on the front of their jerseys?

Don’t quote me on this, but I believe a HC in VB, MBB, WBB, or FB had to be a teacher within the system. I don’t believe it’s all that uncommon for HC’s to not be in the building. Bill Green at Marion (basketball) after after he retired, came back to coach and the rule was amended to having a teaching license. Which was later amended with the Damon Bailey rule.

Sad day for Indiana Football. Coach Brewer was truly one of a kind. Always enjoyed working his games. -
Northwestern looking for HC

Well DT seems to have his finger on the pulse of Indiana HS Football. -
Yea you’re making fun of an 80 something who does bring something of value to the table. Not to mention you post on literally every thread, so either you have an INCREDIBLE breadth of knowledge, or your just some blow hard. You come into the PLAC/MSC thread which you admitted to having nothing to add to the discussion to throw barbs at Bob or Ron or Irishman or me, I really can’t recall. I’ll make you a deal, quit being a dick, and I’ll quit responding to you. Be better.
-
Ehh, it’s been derailed before, I’m just sorry this clown shows up on this thread.
-
Why do you have to be such a dick?
-
Do you have anything of value to add regarding the PLAC/MSC? Take your woe is me martyr crap to your own thread.

He also tried to steal the GID away from TA, which is why he was banned initially. Present management allowed him back until he was banned again. His only answer to growing football seems to be by dropping unsuccessful programs, addition by subtraction……still haven’t figured out how that works. He’s a retired sports writer who think people will pay to read his drivel.

I think the obvious question is availability of IV’s for everyone/what’s in the IV, competitive edge? I’ve been on fields where there are multiple doctors/surgeons available and I’ve been places where we don’t even have a trainer. All of it is certainly above my pay grade as an official.

Social Security Is a Legal Ponzi Scheme
Impartial_Observer replied to Muda69's topic in OOB v2.0's OOB Forum
IO tends to be self sufficient and the last person I would ever want to depend on is the government….. that being said I’m pretty sure I’ve been hearing pretty much all of my working life.
