Seems to be a school of thought our FG kicker can kick it farther than our punter, so instead of punting they attempt a FG. It’s literally a punt with the opportunity to score three points.

Interesting……just when you thought they were ready to start basketball season…..

No pressure on the new BB coach.

Last year they were primarily led by Juniors. I believe they have 19? seniors this year. Brownstown is well coached, they’re disciplined, they don’t turn the ball over, and they don’t make mistakes. I think the biggest difference this year is OL size and strength. They have a MAC commit and he’s not hard to find.

No argument from me. Easier to just poach other MS players.

I don’t think EC shakes anything up this year.

They had some success in the late 79’s and early 80’s under Howard Jackson. I’m pretty sure they made at least one and possibly two playoff appearances. But they’ve never advanced to a final.

I’d say play on.

No real preference. I don’t miss that long walk from the other end of the school.

They can shift into a different formation. However the quickly running forward under center, could well simulate a snap. Once all three are set they would need to be set for 1 second prior to snapping. Would be an interesting play to throw on the officiating forums if you could come up with a clip?

Back in the 90’s sometime at the old FC stadium. We had Evansville Central at FC in the tournament, not sure what round. We had had a freak 6” snow storm on Thursday before the game. So I got to work a game in the snow and frankly never wanted to do it again. The real issue was my jock broke right at the start of the game. This was before the days of compression shorts and all the modern nice things we have today. So worked the whole game flapping in the breeze, it was most uncomfortable. I always packed two jocks after that until compression shorts were born.
