I heard the head of Keystone Group on the radio this morning discussing the new soccer stadium. And it sounds good….but two glaring issues: 1) If you build it, they don’t come and the taxpayers are saddled with an incomplete mess. 2) Still doesn’t address you know the crime, homelessness, shootings, murders, and what not.

Spring time man….let’s all just go outside and play.

I will say in my travels with my kid during the recruiting process, Miami of Ohio was my favorite school. I loved the two, facilities were really nice, just a neat place.

I know Hanger had some decent BBB teams over the years. I’m fat enough away I don’t hear much or see them in other sports. I think I have seen them in SB a time or two. It’s a tough situation, only school in a sparsely populated county and no boat money. Very similar to Jennings County on a smaller scale has been my take.

Yea trying to get dormant grass to put down roots in a week or two in the middle of winter is probably not going to work out well. You’re better off to just paint the dirt.

As a longtime SB coach, and I love the game and the kids who play it, I have long said the worst part of SB is the chants.

Admittedly I’m not a legal aficionado, but I have no recollection of anyone getting bail on a murder charge. I’m quite certain there have been instances however. Now if I’m understanding correctly these officers are out on bail because the state has a weak case. It begs these questions: 1) There is already a perception of preferential treatment because bail is so rare in murder cases. 2) In his rush to judgment the prosecutor has overplayed his hand. If he presses on and the evidence doesn’t support second degree murder charges and these people walk away from this, people will understandably be outraged. 3) What those officers did was criminal. I don’t know what legal definition their acts fit, but if they walk away from this, aside from being a gross miscarriage of justice it will further erode the folks’ belief in the system. We watched it with our own eyes.

Serious question, if I were arrested for murder would I be able to bond out?

Special enforcement groups are rife with this stuff. Nothing wrong with patrolling high crime area harder, but these “SCORPION” units gots ta go!

1) Travel restriction? 2) This is a horrible idea for BD in my opinion. 3) IMG is the embodiment of everything that is wrong with HS sports.

New facilities, supportive athletic department, 10 minutes from a college town, what’s not to love?
